There must be better robotvacs out there

We have tried and tried, but have several problems with this model. If a rug is too think, it thinks there’s a wall, and wont try to clean it. It cleans one area over and over, and doesn’t even find others. Goes back home, then restarts on the same areas again. Moves very slowly vs. others I have seen, so it takes forever to do the house. Most of our floors are hardwoods/tile, with area rugs.

what a disappointment. it can't get onto area rugs. the navigation system gets confused and it will spin around in circles. it bumps into things and damages walls. battery life lasts less than a half hour. useless. now collection dust in the closet.

i am very surprised consumer reports gave this the rating advertised. this vacuum has a load of problems. first, the cyclone part of it that is supposed to provide so much suction power actually causes more problems. the opening is too small and so hair and dust just get stuck in the connection and the bin never fills up which causes the vacuum to quickly stop picking up anything. the brush head constantly falls off and the buttons that click into place are feeble, making it difficult to con...

we bought this thinking "newer is better", but it has been a big let down. first, the waste basket isn't as big as our old one, so we are constantly stopping it to empty it in the middle of cleaning one room. the battery doesn't last at all, and it only cleans one direction, instead of doubling back on its pattern and criscrossing. very disappointed! if you have the older version, hang on to it!!!

I currently own a Samsung: Diswasher, Refrigerator, Range, Microwave, Washer, Dryer, 4 Televisions, and a PowerBot Robot Vacuum that is simply a floor decoration. The brush that comes with it became tangled in pet hair (marketed as a pet hair brush) after the first use and became so entangled/embedded that it cut groves into it (pictured).
