Wifi Issue

Worst machine EVER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have had our samsung addwash washer for 2.5 years and have had nothing but issues. current issue is the ub code which no matter what kind of load we do, keeps popping up!

planned obsolescence

washer started making loud noises when its in spinning cycle, i opened it up and saw that rear seal was gone bad which led the water from tub started to make contact with the bearing. don't buy!!!!!!!

Bearing(s) shot

not a year of washing clothes for 2 & tub bearing failed - jet taking off with washer in spin mode. bearing shot with faulty design-front seal wore out allowing water to get into bearing.

Became very noisy after 3 and half years

I bought this washer in July 2016. It performed well until last month (Dec. 2019). It became so loud during spin cycle that I worried it would explode. Very disappointing. So expensive and does not last. AddWash funtion is of little value to me as I only used it a couple of times during the 3 and a half years.

We Regret this Purchase

letters will come off if you drip detergent on it. the addwash door area collects moisture and gets moldy and gross. and now the bearings have gone bad. it's less than three years old.

The Best

I have moved around the country and have had Samsung, Kenmore, and LG front load laundry sets that we left behind when we moved from a house. This is my second Samsung set and it is by far my favorite. Top load Samsung is garbage, but their front load is fantastic. This washer holds a LOT and seldom goes unbalanced. Add-wash door started leaking at just over 2 years

it doesn't seem very durable. the add-wash door started leaking rather profusely after 2 years, and that seems like a short time before the first repair for a washing machine this expensive.

Buyer Beware

You want to avoid Samsung appliance products. Bought this one from Lowe's 3 years ago and now it's a piece of junk. Something popped in the machine and the machine would not function. Replaced the control panel, main board and inverter board and still the same result. Just goes to show that all that glitters ain't gold.

Great Set!

I purchased the set when I bought my home about 2 years ago, and I love them. I have never had a front loader, so there were some growing pains. As a few reviews stated before, use HE detergent and follow the amounts listed. Also, try to leave the door open after use to allow the machine to dry out, front loaders hold a lot of water even after draining. The one thing that I would warn about is emptying the drain filter. Good Not Great

Samsungs Poor Quality

our washer just stopped working 2 years after installation. this comes after last year i had to repair a dryer idler pulley myself in our matching dryer. samsung fridge also has ice machine issues.

My 34 year old dryer finally gave up and I replaced it with Samsung. 34 year old washer was still going strong but I decided to splurge and buy this matching washer following great reviews. Only had it a week but happy so far. Hoping it will live as long as my last washer!

quit after 2 years no support for product

washer quit in mid rinse cycle after about 2 years was told by Samsung no warranty on products paperwork says 3 years on board 10 years on motor had to pay 100.00 just to have tech look at it if he fixed it says Samsung would require me to pay for parts will never buy Samsung again don't invest your money in them internet says this is common problem on Samsung washers don't waste your money

I will NEVER purchase a Samsung product again!

We purchased two washers and two dryers for our family of six - I felt having two pair would save time and the machines would last longer because they would have half the wear and tear. One washer quit working after 14 months second washer after 17 months. Both have intermittent electrical problems that have not been resolved. I have had it for 16 months.

No complaints. I have solved the moldy smell issue. After the last load (I do laundry about one day every three weeks) I wipe down the rubber gasket and stuff a waded up paper towel in the gasket at the drain holes, two spots. Then leave the door open till it dries. Have not had that ghastly smell since. And once it is dried you can pull the towels out and close the door. Extremely loud

This washer is extremely loud and shakes significantly. It is on a pedestal but the washer is level. It makes all kinds of different noises throughout a cycle. Poor quality- will not be buying Samsung again.

Misleading Specification

This does not connect to WiFi like it says it does. Requires extra hardware to be able to to so.
