I don’t recommend

My husb & I purchased this new stainless steel washer & dryer combo at a naval base store about 8 years ago. We paid far more than expected. I regret this purchase. They both ceased to work very shortly after the purchase, & several times over the years. I DO NOT recommend these products.

Not too bad

Well I guess I’ve been lucky. I got 8 years out of this bad boy. But my board is going. I had zero repairs on this machine which I guess is lucky due to what I am reading here. It was even moved several times

Garbage. Zero stars

I can’t say enough bad things about this washer and dryer. Bought new 7 years ago. Had both serviced multiple times within first 4 years. I will never buy another Samsung ANYTHING. Dryer has died. Washer is leaking from the door area onto my hardwood AGAIN- already had this fixed once. Buying a different brand. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY

So far so good.

I guess I’ve been really lucky with this machine. It’s going on 8 years now. No problems. I do run my clean cycle frequently.

Can't Complain About the Price!

We inherited this washer from my Mom when she moved. The washer was barely 2 years old then. Now we have used it almost 6 years. It stated leaking right after we got it. It only leaks in the beginning. We don't like it when I can only have a delayed start but can't have it finished in certain time which was our old GE washer's feature. It cleans ok.

Awful

The worst! We’ve had this washer for 5 years and it’s completely done. So disappointed in Samsung and it’s company warranty that isn’t even valid for a whole year. What a joke.

Thinking about buying different brand

had this washer for 3 years start making lots of noises louder every time called for a repairs 3 different technicians non of them couldn’t fix we bought the extra coverage they ended up buy out the washer looking for a new washer but not a samsung

Samsung products are junk

bought brand new suite of samsung appliances for our new house in 2014. i had to change out the dishwasher asap because my dishes didnt stand up properly. refrigerator has been worked on nueroys times. washer and dryer bith have had multiple service calls. dryer finally bit the dust. it is being trashed. the drum us made of the thinest material you can imagine. my stove control panel doesn’t work properly. im debating fixing that or getting a new one from another manufacturer. i will never buy a...

Buyer Beware

This was our second machine we had where the bearings went in less than 5 years. I will never buy Samsung again.

Poor Quality Material

the seal around the drum broke for my washing machine as it seems to be made of poor quality plastic and now water is leaking from the bottom.

Dying after 5yrs

well what can i say, noise during spin cycle that you can hear into the living room. started all of sudden, looks like its gonna cost about half of getting a new one. it isn't used that much about 3 times a week family of 4. i thought like most things samsung it would last me 10yrs plus, so disappointed.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. I bought the washer/dryer pair about 5 years ago like many other reviewers. One of the dryer drum wheels seized within the first year. Not a big deal. Fast forward four years later and the washer main circuit board and motor controller board both died. While it could have been a power surge, the washer was on a surge protector and no other devices in the house had problesm.

Noisy

had this installed and leveled upon delivery. worked great for 4 years, then terrible noise was getting louder during the spin cycle. it keeps getting worse the more i use it. customer service was friendly and offered to take care of the cost for parts. that being said this is still way under my expectations of such an expensive appliance.

Had issues with washer and matching dryer

the reviews speak for themselves. samsung does not make reliable appliances. i purchased this washer & matching dryer as a set less than 4 years ago. dryer began leaking gas after 2mos while we had a newborn at home - ended up being replaced after replacing 2 parts. now the motor on the washer has stopped working, i am not in the same situation as the dryer, waiting on a replacement part. very disappointing that samsung doesn't offer any compensation for such a poorly made machine. this will on...

Waste of money

i really loved the design of this washer but unfortunately it only lasted 3.5 yrs. as much as i love samsung i will not be replacing this washer with another samsung. matter of fact will not purchase samsung appliances in the future.

Terrible washer and even worse customer servive

washer is only a few years old. it has begun to fail when going through the normal wash cycle. it won't transition to rinse or spin appropriately. have spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone with samsung to coordinate a repair visit, but the people they contract with won't respond to phone calls or show up when they are supposed to. no one at the samsung help center has offered a solution. i will never buy from this company again since they appear unable to stand behind the suppose...

2 Units Working Well After 5 Years

i bought two of these washer-dryer pairs. one for my house, kept inside, and one for a rental house, kept on a covered/screened patio. both continue to work well. i have not had any problems with either pair. satisfied buyer.

Reliability and Consistently

i purchased this washing machine on september 5th, 2017. up until january 31st, 2021, the washing machine performed well. on february 1st, 2021 the washing machine spinning and draining mechanism failed. the washing machine was only ever used by a single couple. i was hoping that a washing machine would last for more than 3 years and 5 months. the quality is highly disappointing.

True. Last inly 4 years

four year old and has ae6 error code. main control or bunch of other stuff could be broken. not worth fixing. from other reviews the bearings are next.
