No more leaks

Used to replace an old check valve that was connected to my sump pump. Old one wore out, this was an exact replacement. Last one lasted at least 10 years.

Solid Replacement Check Valve

I like that this is easy to connect. The inner flapper is also made of better material than others I checked out.

Works well, versatile fitment.

I like that it's disassemble-able for eventual repair. It did not fit my drain hose which surprised me since the same hose fit another valve that didn't fit my pump's outlet. With a home-made bushing to adapt it to my hose it's working great.

Be sure to tighten bolts on mid-section

Easy to add this to the pipe running up the wall and out of the house. I was sure I had the hose clamps tightened well but never thought to check the bolts on the middle part where the two come together. Water shot out on first pump test and of course doesn't quickly stop. Make sure you have rags and a bucket nearby. It doesn't come with any directions but also be sure the arrow is pointing away from the pit.

Thin profile works well

I used this with a sump pump that did not have a lot of clearance. The thin profile worked well I did change out the connector to be 1 1/2 to 1 1/2 because I had a difficult time connecting to 1 1/2 inch PVC

Check Valve Setup

With the hose clamps it makes it easy to connect up to the discharge drain hose and the pump. You will need to purchase a 1 1/2" female adaptor fitting to be installed on the pump to connect to the check valve.

Just make sure you get all the pieces! ;)

I ordered this for in-store pickup and the valve set aside for me had no clamps. Going to the bin where the valves were kept, some had clamps, some didn't. But the picture on-line showed clamps, I could show the store associate that, and so I got the clamps with the valve.

Leaky Check valve

The check valve leaked and caused my sump pump to constantly run until it eventually burnt out. I replaced it with a Zoeller check valve that's working fine. Cost me $300 for a new pump. ugh!

I purchase a pedestal sump pump and the connection for the pump is 1 1/2”. The check valve recommended in your website is the one above 1 1/4. Wrong size. I had to go to your store and purchased the right size.
