Can’t handle moderate system pressure
Would Not RecommendInstalled this item in a well system with jet pump and water pressure tank set to only 42 psi shutoff. Blew apart where the boot is clamped to the valve housing above the check (where the pressure is - all of these components come with the valve). Even tried a second hose clamp above the one supplied. Gave up.

Solid product but use caution when installing
Would RecommendSolid product. Back-flow stopped. The problem with this product is a lack of adequate installation instructions when installing in a horizontal line. By the tags on the valve, it could easily be installed upside down. Also, the body is larger than the one I replaced resulting in hard contact with the basement floor.
