Lightweight and easy to install

This product was exactly what we were looking for. It is lightweight and easy to move. We put it under plank flooring in a bedroom. The roll cut easily and installation was simple.

Underlayment for vinyl

This underlayment makes a bit of a difference in floor softness. It helps quiet your footsteps. We were able to lay this under our vinyl flooring easily. No issues.

Very good vinyl flooring underlayment

I was installing a vinyl plank floor and needed a sound dampening underlayment. This underlayment is 2 mm thick, 36 inch wide and 25 feet long. Easy to cut with scissors. Join separate pieces using tape ment for undelayment. This is a big roll, so need to make few cuts. This is easy to lay compared to the plastic underlayment which slides. This is made in USA with good quality. I was impressed using this underlayment.

Probably would be good for what it is made to do

Used it as a runner. I thought it would be heavier and more durable from the pictures. I guess as an under layment it would be fine but not for my experiment.

Quality Underlayment

This product is sturdy and easy to use. It comes in a convenient roll and lays well on the subfloor. It doesn't crack or buckle if you need to step on it while installing. It is a nice thickness , especially for LPV with an attached cork or other backing.

Waterproof underlayment

This is underlayment. We will be using it for laying my vinyl flooring. I cant wait to get my floor done now. This will make it a lot easier to have this waterproof barrier.

Excellent quality!

I'm actually impressed with the quality of this underlayment. I've had to remodel several of our properties, and all of them have vinyl plank floors. One thing I can't stand is the "clack clack" sound that you hear when walking on a vinyl floor that has been installed with poor quality underlayment. Some are made of inferior foam that gives off a hollow sound. This product is perfect...not too thick and not too thin, absorbs sound, easy to roll out. Stainmaster vinyl plank floor underlayment. Roll is 75 sq ft. measurements are 25ft by 3ft. 2mm thick. Is waterproof and has sound barrier. 2 rolls was enough to cover my kitchen and dining room.

Underlayment for vinyl flooring

This underlayment is very nice. It lays down nicely, cuts easily and is waterproof. I am laying down vinyl flooring and this certainly fits the bill. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is a waterproof product so that would make sense. I would recommend this product for sure.

This underlayment went down easily and made the flooring more flexiable and creates a moisture barrior and insulates the floors a little more from the cold weather.

Wonderful sound deafening!

We used the underlayment in the kitchen under luxury vinyl planks. It is the perfect thickness and feels cushiony when walking on it. It is also sound deafening.

Lightweight, easy to install

This is a great product! It is lightweight, waterproof and easy to use. Since we used the 2mm thickness with the flooring we picked out, we didnt have to worry about doors. There was no noise or anything after installation.

Additional layer of protection

Product works well and is simple to install. This should help with the moister issue I have in my basement around this pole when the floor gets installed. It is 2mm thick, or about 0.08inches, so make sure that you include that thickness into your project. I used underlayment tape by FloorComfort which stuck well to the foam.

Great underlayment

This is a great underlayment for my new vinyl flooring. I live in an upper floor of a condominium where sound insulation is required for flooring. This underlayment is only 2mm thick so it lays down flat and with the 6mm vinyl planks I used I didn't have to trim the bottom of doors. The flooring is comfortably cushioned without creeping or squeaking. 5 Stars Stainmaster.
