Why Singer, why?
I've had this machine (9960) for a few years and only several months ago I began using it more frequently. I mostly sewed quilting cotton, never a bunch of layers. Since I used a couple of colours only and used the only bobbins it came with the machine, I had no issues. Then I ran out of bobbins and bought Singer class 15 bobbins as recommended. Would RecommendWonderful machine that I purchased to replace my old, aging Kenmore (35 years old). I haven't tried all of the features yet, but the instructions seem familiar and easy to follow (similar to old machine). Looking forward to many years of sewing with this machine.

Wow, where do I start? After months of research, I settled on my decision to purchase the Quantum Stylist 9960. I watched every YouTube video about it and by time it arrived in June, I knew just about everything on how to use it. This machine is awesome.
