What Customers Are Saying
The product can provide a cost-effective solution for transforming dated countertops, but requires careful preparation and application to achieve good results. Customers who followed instructions and used high-quality tools generally had positive experiences, with the coating providing good coverage and a nice finish. However, many reported significant issues, including an overpowering odor, difficulty with application leading to bubbles or uneven coverage, and poor durability, with the paint chipping, scratching, or leaving indentations easily. The product may not live up to claims, and customers should be aware of the potential downsides and be willing to put in significant time and effort to achieve acceptable results.

Would Not RecommendI would not leave 1 star but that is not an option. .Rustoleum has always been a great name. But following instructions they recommended 2 thin coats using foam roller covers. It was like applying water paint. After 4 coats it still did not cover and was starting to leave blisters, this over laminate countertop. I wound up removing and replacing countertops. Rustoleum, shame on you.
Chipped and scratched within three months

Love ❤️ this
Would RecommendI painted 2 bathroom countertops and 2 kitchen countertops, I fell in like with the product, but I also had to figure out my own way to do it. Once I did, it turned out great
Easy-Peezy
Would RecommendI used it during Covid for my kitchen countertops which were 70’s Formica “butcher block.” I’ve just bought it again for touch up after more than 4 years of wear and tear. It is amazing in both ease of application as well as cover up. No prep except for cleaning the counter tops before applying! (I also used their cabinet paint!!)

use the money for something better
Would Not Recommendchips easy, doesn't cover well, stinks horrifically, I'm going to have to completely redo my countertops bc I wasted time on this garbage.

Light Use, Temporary
I do not recommend this for normal daily use for a family. If you do use this, do not do the second coat until after 24 hrs from the first coat. you will need a respirator and all windows open for the first two days. it says 3 day cure time. more like 8+ days. we gave it 6 days before placing ANYTHING on the counter. we now have 2 plate rings from placing room temp plate on it and put two fried eggs on the plate. I also used my Kitchen Aid this morning to grate cheese. I placed it on a special s...

Don't do it
Would Not RecommendI just wanted a white bathroom counter. This said countertop paint- seemed like the perfect simple solution. It was NOT- ive painted just about everything in my house- walls, furniture and another countertop, I've never been so frustrated. This stuff is not self leveling, does show roller and brush marks and coverage was quite difficult. I ended up doing 4 coats to get even close to consistent coverage. Not to mention how strong the odor is. And I'll still have to apply some kind of top coat/sea...

Follow Directions it looks great!
Would RecommendI applied this after painting my cabinets white. I did the "light ash" color and it turned out great. As other reviews have mentioned this stuff has a strong odor (it's epoxy!) and you will want to wear a P100 mask while applying. The smell will last for days after. I opened my windows and used a high-velocity fan to fumigate. I applied one coat with a foam roller and foam brush immediately after purchase and mixed at the store. I waited 24 HOURS and then applied a second coat. One can (29oz) wo...

Would RecommendPrep is the key to a great paint job.sand well prime if some ares that need it.Sand well with sanding sponges.clean counter with laquer thinner.apply threecoates of paint sand any ruff areas between coates if needed if you do this it should work well for you as it did for me.this is a good product but prep is the key!!!
Was hopeful
Would Not RecommendI absolutely love the color and how it looked. I did 3 coats but only waited like 12 hour dry time between. And maybe that is where the mistake was. I didn’t see anywhere on the directions to wait 24 hours between coats. I did see the 7 days to cure. We waited 7 days before anything was placed on counters and it still pitted. Now they absolutely look horrible! The first photo was after application and during the 7 day cure. The last photo was taken 10 days later.
Oh no, not something we like to hear. Unfortunately, additional coats were applied before the previous coat had been allowed to cure long enough. As ...

Does not look good
Would Not RecommendThe color of this paint is nowhere near the color I picked and it dried sticky and not smooth. I followed all of the directions on the package and waited longer than the recommended drying time before applying the second coat but when I applied the next layer bits of the first coat came off making it look worse than it did before. I don't know what to do besides add more coats but I think that may make it look even lumpier and prevent it from drying. Now I will probably have to replace the whole...
