Would Not RecommendAfter 3 years using Restore, the product has ruined my deck! ! ! It allows moisture to get under the coating and start the wood rotting process! Some of the coating will peal and the part that doesn't has started the wood rotting process. I now have to replace most all of wood under the Restore. STAY AWAY FROM RESTORE ! ! !

Don’t buy this product
Would Not RecommendDo not buy this product. I painted my deck 2 years ago, followed the instruction step by step since it was not cheap, had to reapply last year and this year is completely a mess. I am not sure what I need to do. I have double decker large deck, sanding them to pill off what is left will be in thousands of dollar. I went to Lowe’s where I bought the expensive paint and they told me I am on my own and they don’t sell it anymore. Anyone has any idea or suggestion for me?
That's not what we like to hear, Mario! If there are areas where Rust-Oleum Restore 10X Advanced Deck and Concrete Resurfacer is firmly adhered to th...

Do not waste your time or money on this.
Would Not RecommendI bought this stuff 4 years ago and I am very disappointed with it. I have 2 rotten boards and where the water got under the stuff has left mold. Spent nearly $150 on this worthless stuff. My back deck is 15 years older than my front deck and looks twice as good and sealer is the only thing I put on it. I sent a email to the company headquarters about getting my money back but no response.
Thank you for sharing your experience! Please keep in mind that Rust-Oleum Restore 10x Advanced Deck and Concrete Coating will not be considered a wa...

Retore 10 X
Would RecommendWe put it on our porch floor about 2 years about it still looks like the day we put it down have had a couple of places where it is cracking or peeling but that is my fault for not preparing the wood right should of sanded it. Some friends came over and when they saw it they thought it was the engineered deck boards it really looks GREAT BUT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION TO THE LETTER OH AND IT IS NOT A JOB YOU WILL DO INT AN HOUR OR TWO BUT WELL WORTH IT.....before and after
Waste of money and time
Would Not RecommendDidn’t even last a year. Two years later it’s absolutely horrible. We are redoing it again but not with this paint.
That is not what we like to hear! We need to know more about the application to get to the bottom of this. Please contact our Product Support Departm...

Works Well - Mostly
Would RecommendThe deck was old, gray and had not been sealed. It was power washed until wood fibers were "fuzzed". Put the product on slowly and thick. Stained the deck board edges with matching stain. Two winters later, it has faded but not pealed. There is built-in seating on two sides of the deck. Also applied the Restore to the seat boards. For some unknown reason, a couple of small patches pealed. One cautionary note: according to the deck board supplier's instructions - newly installed, pressure...
Very difficult to work with
Would Not RecommendPrepared my deck as instructed, this paint was very difficult to work with, like painting with mud! It splattered everywhere, the started peeling in big pieces within weeks. We had to pull up all of the surface boards and replace.
Something is amiss here, Sara! Our Restore 10x Advanced is a very thick and durable deck coating that should be applied using the Restore Honeycomb ...

So far, So good.
Would RecommendI bought this for covering a worn, stained deck. The paint went on very easily and looks very nice and has a grit for safe walking. This paint has been on for only two weeks and hasn't been thru a winter yet. Ask me a year from now if I still like it.

time comsuming to apply, but saved our deck!
Would RecommendWhen we purchased our home 3+ years ago, the huge deck was in pretty bad shape. At 25 years old (approximately), it had splinters that the kids were getting in their feet and the deck looked, well, weathered. Overall, really happy with product as it saved my deck and, importantly, no more splinters! To prep, i power washed deck AND applied the restore primer, even though this last step wasn't advised (i stumbled upon the primer in the store). 10x restore goes on like mayonaise and the time-con...
This product was so easy to apply and it saved us from having to rebuild our deck, but it's important to do your prep work as directed. Our worn wood deck looks like new and the color is complimentary to our house colors.
Rust Oleum Restore Resurfacer
Would RecommendGreatest product made. Was able to save most all of my deck boards after 25 years of weather and use. Deck looks brand new with application of This product.

durable coating
Would RecommendThis stuff does not go very far. So you will need double the amount you normally paint with. With that said I love it. Used it on my pool deck for extra traction. Very durable and tough coating. Deck is in direct sunlight with no shade and constantly exposed to harsh weather. I don't feel like it gets as hot as normal paint but thats just me. Roll on very thick and make sure to use their provided roller. I used three coats for good measure but the required two coats is good enough. The stuff is...

DO NOT USE
Would Not RecommendYes it filled in splintered areas, and we loved it for the first 18mths. It has now been 3 years and we are faced with a nightmare. It allows moisture to get under it. The paint is literally coming off in sheets in some areas from the moisture being under it, and it has allowed the wood to rot. We are now looking at having to replace our entire deck because of this product.
