I have it wall mounted. Its easy enough for the young kids (5 and 7) to get the basketball out from. I don't use the wall track system so I can't comment on that. I will be interested to see how the elastic holds up, but it seems durable.

Rubbermaid Ball Rack

Great product. I have owned two of these for years and needed a third. They help keep my garage organized with al the kids toys, etc.

It works advertised and anchoring it helps. Would be nicer with a slightly larger capacity because I did not realize how many basketballs, soccer balls, etc that my kids have.

Finally!

Finally, a place to store soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, etc... that otherwise get left out or put away where the kids can't get to them easily. A simple solution that is greatly appreciated. Also, the centralized storage makes it easy to identify if something's missing (ie. kids didn't put away). Highly recommended, doesn't require Fasttrack, can be mounted directly to the wall if needed.

Very Handy Ball Rack

This item greatly reduces the number of balls we have lying around the garage. Very nice, very handy.

Can be used for so much more than sports balls

I was looking for a fun creative option for my daughter's room. So when I saw this I knew I could use it as a hamper. Cut out a cardboard bottom here and add a simple net bag there and BAM! You have a heavy duty hamper than can hold up to a kid's punishment. The nice thing is once she gets bored with it... we all know that will happen, or wants a different look to her room I can just take it down and put it in the garage for it's intended use.

Exceeded Expectations

I wasn’t totally sure about this at first but we love it! This makes a huge difference in our garage and i life that we can use this for various size balls. We have basket balls, footballs and other random nerf balls in there. It really cleans up the garage nicely.

A very clever and versatile idea from Rubbermaid. This ball rack is extremely sturdy and very nicely finished in a durable satin nickel finish with polished stainless steel assembly Allen screws. Serves its purpose

This product serves the purpose intended, but the straps could be tighter (no way to adjust) I'm hoping they make it longer than other reviews I've seen (1yr), as replacements are not available. It's great to have a place (off the floor) to contain balls!

A Great Organizer

When the grandkids come to visit there are many things all over the yard. They do clean up after themselves but bulky things like kickballs, soccer balls and basically anything else of size take space. This mounts on the wall in the garage and keeps those things for them in one neat place. The kids seem to like the idea because it's different. I do wish the bars were a little closer together to handle soft balls but this is good.
