Love having everything up off the floor and still easily accessible for the kids. Simple to assemble also.

Easy assembly-fits its purpose well

This is a pretty straight forward product. Assembly was extremely easy (my 10 year old son was able to assemble it with my supervision). You will just want to make sure both top and bottom ends are facing the correct direction, with the hooks facing inward toward each other. It’s possible to assemble them backwards, but you will then find out the bungee straps will not hook on properly. Good storage for all sports

I figured this would be flimsy metal. But it's very sturdy. The top clip that it hangs from was a little hard to put on. You have to line up groves so you can put a pin in. I had one side, but needed more strength to get it lined up right to hammer the pin in. But other then that - it went together pretty well. Just have to watch the correct direction of the pieces before you secure them. I was surprised that it holds basketballs and you can slide footballs into the cords easily.

This unit was fairly easy to install and you can put up to 4 racks on the bar. Really helped organize all various balls my kids play with.

Great until bands stretch out or break.

Had this for about 18 months. Works great right up until the rubber cords stretch out (or break). Would be great if Rubbermaid provided traditional nylon bungee cords as the rubber ones they include dry out, crack and stretch out. I'll grab some bungee cords and make it better than the original.

Great Idea - Poor Quality

The rubber bands broke after only 2 months. I only stored basketball and soccer balls in the rack. I haven't contacted Rubbermaid, but I hear you can not buy replacement bands. Unless they improve the quality of the bands the replacements are worthless.

Easy to assemble. But during assembly, one of the bands broke. I later found out that it is a common problem with this item and to fix it you have to buy bungee chords. Rubbermaid doesn't sell replacement bands at this time.

Discovered Replacement Bands!!

To all those people out there who have broken bands on their Fast track ball holder, here's a very good suggestion: get a LoopRope and tie it at the top left, then wrap it around on the bottom, then tie it to the top right. LoopRope comes in 5' or 3' lengths and can be used for almost anything. It would be great in this case because it still has enough flexibility #it's a bungee cord on steroids# and it comes with double sided clips to help fasten it to anything. Rubbermaid FastTrack Vertical Ball Rack 1784462

Good in concept...

Like many other reviewers, the rubber/elastic bands broke after just a couple of months. Tried using traditional bungee cords instead, but didn't hold as well. Ultimately used bungees to replace the bands, and then a couple of more bungees around the circumference of the rack and that helps. Not as good as new, but at least I can still use it. Disappointed in the quality.

Having basketballs, soccer balls and footballs loose in the garage was pretty annoying. This product is an attractive and effective solution. I'm quite satisfied with the quality, appearance and function. It's priced a little higher than I would've liked, but still not a bad value.

Don't just use it for balls

I had a mental picture of a device that would allow all my tools with handles -- shovels, rakes, picks, etc. -- to be stored in a neat circle. As I was walking through Lowes, I saw this and decided it was perfect. And, it was! The rubber straps also served to hold things in place and I found it a great place to store bungee cords. Vertical Ball Rack

If you are going to purchase or have purchased the Rubbermaid Fast Track, this is a good accessory to have for any of the bigger balls that you or your children would have lying around the garage. It's an efficient use of space.
