Lid problem

I bought this last December and I am not satisfied with the product The lid does not stay closed

Large capacity every day use

This a clasic rectangular swing top trash This is a 13 gallons capacity , durable plastic , Thats a perfect size and the material is very strong. And the weight is ok is mot heavy

Basic

We use these in our Air BNBs and…. They work most of the time. I feel the plastic is a little light. Standard trash bags fit fine. What I don’t like is they are hard to clean and stain. The tops come off, the way they flip allows slobs who throw stuff into them to miss and the garbage slides down the back outside. They are ugly.

Durable, dependable product

I’ve used this product for more years than I can count! Even if something spills on it it’s super easy to clean. I love the swing top so you’re not having to touch a trash can lid.

Easy functioning

Doesn’t trap in smell very well because of the swing top lid. The lid can easily get stuck too. However due to this lid throwing away trash has never been easier.

The top became annoying. I removed it. I don’t know where it is anymore. But I’m fine. It has a good capacity. It doesn’t waste the bags much. It’s relatively cheap.

Terrible Customer Care

Broken springs on Spring top Kitchen Waste Basket no help from Rubbermaid! Replacement parts not available!! So where can we buy replacement springs? Lousy support for very pricey plastic trash can with cheap parts!!

We use this product in my work for many things, garbage, food, vegetables, rice and the truth is that it is very good and easy to wash

Lid broke

I love this garbage can, especially with our dog! However, the lid broke after only a few weeks. Can I purchase a lid? If not, is there anything that Rubbermaid can do? THank you!

Got it to work

Just bought my wastebasket today. Couldn't figure out how to put in the bags, so read all the reviews. SO, I just took off the top frame, put on the bag & put the top frame on again. Bag stays in place & the top shuts just fine. Of course it is only 1 day old. :-)

Great idea, poor execution

I loved the idea of this trashcan. I like that it will hold more than my previous can, and that the bag would stay in place. However, the lid will not stay closed unless there is no bag in it; I don't want to look at my trash all the time! Unfortunately, I going to have to buy another trash can.

Sucks

I bought it a week ago cant get the springs to work on the trash can cuz the lid podded off and dont fit my bags

Not so great

the lid doesn't stay closed. Everything else is great but without lid closing securely, it isn't useful

Lid dies not hinge

I just got this trash can today, and when it arrived, the back part of the lid is not hinged to the can on the back of the can. I had no issues getting the bag to stay in place and the lid latches in the front but is not attached at all in the back!
