Good cheap washer

Have had this washer for about a month and it has been great it was affordale its fast and I have had no problem with the water level as some reviewers have said the only thing I wish this machine had is a softner dispenser but I guess thats what Downey balls are for . Over all a great buy

I PURCHASED this machine July 25, 2011. It was delivered July 30, 2011. It kicked the bucket July 28th, 2011. I contacted Lowes, who was more than helpful in obtaining proof of delivery date. Horrible Machine

I have had this machine for 13 months. I originally purchased it because it was a great price and with a name like Whirlpool, I figured I couldn't go wrong. I have had repair men out 4-6 times and am still having more problems with the machine. All of the repair men were sent to me by Whirlpool's 1-800 number. 1. Do Not Purchase This Washer!!

I noticed from the start that this washer was very loud. It shakes a whole bunch. But it was one of the cheaper models so I decided it was something I could live with. We purchased December 2011....here it is April 2012 (less than 4 months old) and it has FLOODED my house. Rinse cycle

I bought this washer brand new. My mother was at the house the first time I used it & she made a comment on how loud it was. I checked why & it was because there was hardly any water in the washer- it was on the rinse cycle. I did several loads that day & the same thing. Fewer dollars, more noise, just as clean.

An appliance repairman recommended this washer, saying it is basically made the same way as more expensive models and works just as well. He did tell us we might find it noisier, but that would not diminish the washer's ability to clean clothes. He highly recommended buying it from Lowe's. I would recommend this washer to everyone!

This washer is rated higher in Consumer Reports then a lot of the higher priced washers! The difference with a Roper is you don't have the sparkling knobs and all the junk you pay a lot more for! You get a well designed washer made by whirlpool that doesn't have belts to break down. My 17 year old Kenmore washer finally stopped working and after quite a bit of reading and searching my husband and I went with the Roper. It was the best decision. Water level on rinse cycle is too low

When the delivery guys came by to delivery my new washing machine I was so excited and got straight to work on the laundry. When the cycle got to the rinse cycle, it sounded exactly as I expected. The machine was rinsing on too small amount of water... so the agitator was really smacking those clothes around. Great Washer

I only purchased the machine this week and have used it just three times but am absolutely satisfied with it so far. It doesn't seem noisy as some have indicated and does a fine job cleaning and getting the water out of the clothes. The price was very good and on top of that Lowes was giving 10% off! Am very pleased with the purchase.

OK washing machine

This wahing machine is very noisey. It does get the clothes clean and seems to rinse ok even though it has a very low water level on the rinse cycle. I needed a cheap washer and that is what I got. If you can afford it get a better machine.

Roper washing machine

well i didnt listen to what i read in the reviews and brought one any way on low income and got the warrentry what i dont like is they are only 6 inches of rinse water on low 4 inches good grief where is the water

I bought the Roper Dryer a few days ago and was very pleased. My washer died yesterday and I bought this washing machine tonight. I read all the reviews and felt really undecided, but with more good than bad I went ahead and bought it. I washed one small load in it to get a feel for if it was going to work or not. Ready for a junk yard

This is the worse washer I have ever had . The water level only comes up 6 inches on the rince cycle.. I have to rince the clothes twice in order to get the soap out of them. They say this is to reduce water useage. How does that save water If I have to do it twice.. I However I tried differnt detergents. thinking that would help. I tried not putting as many clothes in it. That didn't help. I tried diffent levels of deteregent . That didn't help. . I am not very happy. Can't wait for this machin...

Noise will wake up the dead

I live 35 miles from the closest cemetary and this machine makes so much noise it wakes up the dead

Dont waste your time

This is a very loud washer that does not clean clothes well. It leaks water and doesn't spin well. Now my washer that is less than 4 months old is completely broken !

Best purchase ever .

When I bought my washer I didn't have much money so I went cheap. But what I got wasn't cheap at all. My Roper lasted 11 years. I believe it would still be running if their hadn't been 3 families using it for the last year. It finally died after they packed it to full every time the springs came off the tub which lead to a hole in the tub. Their all gone now and next month I am going to get another one. It is perfect for me and my husband and has everything I need.
