Not much better than a taping knife
Would Not RecommendI tired the wallpaper scraping tool and didn't find it to be much better than a taping knife. The roller is a good idea for keeping the scarper at a constant angle to avoid digging into the dry wall, and that works if the wallpaper is loose enough from the wallpaper removing solution. Most of the time, however, it takes two or three applications of the remover to loosen the wallpaper and I ended up using he scraping tool as I would a taping knife. Would RecommendThe dreaded job of removing wallpaper is a pain no matter what youtube video you watch..this tool is a must since it helps you from gouging drywall behind the paper like I have done with a scraper. Blade could be a bit wider..other than that...my wallpaper had patterns on it so it wasn’t “a peel off type” that I have seen.

Would RecommendGood design idea, the roller prevents wall damage, but you have to ensure continuous contact of the roller with the wall. Question: should the handle be at more of an angle to facilitate the roller contact?

Would RecommendWe recently had to remove some wallpaper border and we bought this tool to help. After steaming the border we used this tool to peel the border, then a mixture of fabric softner and water to get the rest of it off. This tool made life much easier. The design helps keep you from gouging the walls which is great not making more work for yourself repairing gouges after removing wallpaper.
