What Customers Are Saying
The wallpaper scraper tool has received mixed reviews. While some users found it helpful and time-saving when used with a steamer or remover, others reported issues with the blade being too small, dull, or angled improperly, making it difficult to remove tougher or patterned wallpaper. Some users also experienced the tool damaging the wall surface. The effectiveness of the scraper appears to vary depending on the specific wallpaper removal project.

Would RecommendThis scraper was a big help. I bought it to use with a wallpaper steamer. Last time I removed wallpaper, I used a putty knife as a scraper and had plenty of spots that I had to patch. This scraper was faster than using a putty knife and it didn't gouge the walls. I highly recommend this tool.
No replacement blade
This scraper was a frustration tool to say the least. I found the three inch blade to be too small to be practical. Also, there are no replacement blades nor any way to even change out the dull blade. Fortunately, I have a handy husband who kept sharpening the blade for me.
Great tool
Would Recommendeasy to use and does a good job on removal of paper
Doesn't Get Under the Wallpaper
Would Not RecommendThis scraping tool does not work very well. I could not get under the wallpaper to scrape it off. Using a regular drywall knife worked much better.
Works quite well. Wallpaper should be scored and wet before use. Caution is advised to not gouge the wall.
Piranha Walpaper Scraping Tool
Would Not RecommendDon’t waste your money. Doesn’t work at all on tough wallpaper.
useless
Would Not Recommendthe design is flawed because the angle of the blade is off so that it doesn't lay flush with the wall so it can grab the wall paper. too bad because the handle and roller would have been nice to use and save wear and tear on you hand and arm
get something else
Would Not RecommendSure, it wont gouge the wall. Because the blade won’t touch. The concept might be good. And it obviously works for some. But worthless for me. Plus, not sure how they judge the blade to be installed for optimum use because my blade was installed backwards. Dull side towards the wall.
Worse than useless
Would Not RecommendThe angle of the blade makes it so that this just rolls right over wallpaper, and it's extremely difficult to hold it at an angle where it actually gets underneath the paper. So disappointed, such a waste of money. I had to toss it right in the trash, $11 down the drain. Do yourself a favor and just get a sharp putty knife that'll actually work.
Makes scraping wallpaper easier
Would RecommendUsing this scraper with a good wallpaper steamer will let you remove glue and paper without the marks caused by a standard metal scraper. Metal scrapers tend to dig into dry wall or plaster. This scraper glides over surface with ease due to rollers.
BEST WALLPAPER REMOVER TOOL
Would RecommendI didnt think this tool was worth my time or money—however this scraper and ONLY hot water—OMG!!!!! The wallpaper came off with minimum effort! If I had known about this tool a couple of years ago my wallpaper would have been history. This tool and hot water...amazing!!!
Very handy
Would RecommendI usually use a drywall knife to scrape wallpaper, but I thought I'd give this tool a try. I was very impressed. There's a roller at the tail that keeps the blade at the proper angle, so you are less likely to nick the sheet-rock. The blade is sharp, but it gums up (as do other knives). Keep a couple paper towels around to wipe it off and you're good to go.
Scraper
Would RecommendIt does a good job after getting paper to release. Does a better job on glue once wet with wallpaper removing solution or steamer.
