Horrendous crackling distortion sound DONT BUY!!!!Only way to watch with this is to turn the base completely off and there’s still distortion Crickets from Roku after replacing it once, the 2nd one was just as bad if not worse

TV mutes with headphones

I have it for a month and have not been able to connect headphones without muting the TV. I have Sennheiser RS120 wireless headphones that I need, but with the streambar the TV mutes when headphones are in use. This does not work because other people need the sound. The smaller Roku products work well with these headphones. I will be returning the streambar

Terrible Low End

Would Not Recommend

Had it for about a month and I'm not happy with it. It does sound better than my TV speakers, but it simply can't handle any bass. It tries, but it just rattles. Very disappointing.

Purchased this to replace a Roku Ultra. I connected to my Samsung TV and discovered that switching between inputs requires constant changing of TV audio options to get the sound to play through the sounder. Also, switching back and forth between HDMI inputs causes the Roku to 'reset' to the opening screen versus returning to the previously selected channel. Not worth the price, buy the Roku Express instead

The Streambar is advertised as having "premium audio". It does not. The sound is more bassy than the sound from my TV, but the treble is worse, so the sound is muffled. In hindsight I should have just bought the Express.

Faulty product.

I and dozens of others who were initially pleased found that after some months of operation the unit sounds as if the speakers are blown. I returned my original under warranty and received a new one quickly and without hassle. After about a year the second unit now sounds as if the speakers are blown. Dozens of other people have complained about it but the response from Roku is radio silence. If you want to throw away a hundred or more dollars, this is the soundbar for you.

Just OK

The setup was a bit complicated with my new Sony TV, but finally did get it done. The streambar has good audio for the majority of TV viewing, but there are times it sound like a tunnel. During these times I’d like the option to switch to my TV audio. I found this is not possible. If you are streaming, you can only have audio through the streambar. Not having the option to select Streambar or TV audio is why I am returning this.

Less then one year and streambar start having issues! Freezing, slow, voice/picture out of sync!!! Contacted custome service and all I got running around . Went back to my roku express 4k+ and no issues at all. What a terrible product warranty and useless customer service! Don't buy it!

I received this as a gift. I use it in my bedroom. Let me tell you, I have a Bose system on my main tv. This sounds just as good as the Bose. If you want great sound, you need this. I love it!!

Junk DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

We have Roku devices in every room of our home. We were excited to try the streambar. We have been dissatisfied since day 1. The sound isn’t all that great but even worse, the device just randomly drops connection or randomly restarts in the middle of a program. All other devices in our home work perfectly except for this one, which may I add is the most expensive one!!

Audio issues

I have had my sound bar for about 3 to 4 years. It had issues when being used for a long period of time. I would resolve the issue by turning it off and back on. These last 2 years I’ve been having serve audio issues. The sound is distorted, goes up & down or go out. This is disappointing because now I’m seeking a replacement.

Faulty product and terrible customer service

Purchased a soundbar as Christmas gift for my father and law and the unit did not work out of the box. I've created an RMA request and haven't heard back for over a month. The product is defective and customer service is terrible to make it worse. They haven't even gotten around to responding to my request. Terrible product and service. Buyer beware.

No support for WPA3, in 2023?!?!

The device is fine performance wise. The sound is good, the responsiveness is solid. The issue is that there is no support for WPA3, a protocol that came out in 2018. I would not recommend this product until support is provided. If you are on an older WIFI access point that only supports WPA2, then sure. Its a perfectly fine device.

The sound quality is not great and there are times when the audio drops out. It happens mostly when music plays in movies or TV shows. It also will drop off completely when I switch over to terrestrial TV. I don't do it a lot, mostly for sports but it is frustrating to have to unplug the Roku to get audio. I'm thinking about getting rid of it or going with a Roku enabled TV.

Speakers blow out over time

Ive purchase this over a year ago and have to manage the volume and bass because the speakers have blown twice and I’ve had to have it replaced. Now I’m out of warranty and can’t replace it any longer. I don’t raise the volume over 30. It has great features, looks good, solid sound quality but speakers blow over time.

Great Sound but Glitchy Interface

Easy hook up and I enjoy the one wire connection. The sound is clear and volume adjustments are very nice.
