a useless brick, won't work with spectrum

I recently preloaded the spectrum app on 2 brand new roku sticks before moving.It worked fine. I got spectrum service at the new residence and the spectrum app wouldn't work. I now have a bunch of useless bricks.

We really enjoy the Roku. We use it for our apps and then some free tv. We also have our local channel TABLO DVR linked to Roku with an app. I highly recommend it.

This device only works occasionally. I have an identical model roku device that works fine in all locations in my house, so I know the device is defective. I have sent several emails and tried to chat with customer support. I have tried all of their troubleshooting (again in most cases). Every time I pick up the remote I hit the mute button. Ergonomically it is a very poor design. It does work, but I have to unmute every time I touch it. Most likely will be returned.

Roku stick plus is great to use with 5K wifi. Plenty of options for apps. I have purchased one for each TV. I'm so glad to be streaming and it's saved me money instead of paying satellite TV.

According to an easy search that we didn’t realize we should make before purchase, Roku has had issues with audio distortion for several generations and has made no effort to internally fix the issue. The stated work arounds do not solve the issue. There is no customer service other than a chat with a bot. You have to sign in to use that. I bought this 2 months ago to watch the Spectrum TV app . I actually bought 4 Roku devices to do this since that is what my in-laws use to watch live TV. Roku is blocking me from using the app, however my in-laws can use it as of this very moment. For me, the Roku isn't even usable for me. Don't buy this. I purchased it and ever since I've had to switch out the batteries every two weeks because the batteries drain so quickly in the remote. I contacted support and they said that this is a known issue they are working to address. They asked me to try changing my set up (plugging into the wall for power not the tv), which I did and the battery still drains ridiculously quickly.
