The whole experience is just mediocre. Input is not always very responsive. From the time it was new, it was constantly draining batteries. I thought I bought a bad batch of batteries, but it's not our main TV, so I tried to live with it. Well, one year later, and going through many Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries, I decided to research this. Wow! This is a known issue. I bought my 1st streaming stick about 3 yrs ago.

Would Recommend

I bought the premier. Now all of a sudden neither can connect to the tv. We are in a dead zone so we are unable to get internet. We use our hot spot on our iPhones.I went on the connectivity site and then I realized that this is coming out of India and I was told that I had to sign up for a 6 month contract to get connected. Do yo charge everybody for this service? Not Happy in Alaska.

Would Not Recommend

Constant problems aince I bought in September to replace my third Roku streamer. Constantly not recognized by wifi network (high speed two year old gateway) or 8 year old TV. Remote dead every two weeks (withour using voice commands). If all work this bad, after 11 years of Roku I am done.

Roku Stick No Longer Connects to WiFi

This is a known problem and Roku appears to be doing nothing about it. When my first Roku Stick failed to find my WiFi, I replaced it with a new one after trying all of things you do to get the Roku to work again. The new one worked great for 1 month and I had the same issue. My WiFi network was invisible to it. I reset the device to factory settings and that appeared to work for a couple of weeks and I got the same error again. I tried to reset to factory defaults again and that did not work. T...

Brought this less than 2 years ago. It just died. Tried connecting the WiFi and it would not connect. I have had plenty of HDMI problems in the preceding months and now it just not work at all. Tried all the fixes on the website and nothing worked. Last Roku I had lasted over 5 years and it worked fine.

I was a skeptic, but I have a 2017 smart tv that NEVER updates, so I really needed this in order to watch more apps. It has all the apps I currently need, and makes my tv faster than it was. My modem is in the same room as the tv, so the response is super fast. Love that I only have one remote now too. So far it's working very well for my needs.

Really Good, but

Would Recommend

This stick device works very well. Only problem I've had is that I am on my third stick. The laser quit working on the first two. One lasted a little over a year and the second about 5 months. I have to wonder about quality of the stick construction. So, get one if you are not concerned that you may have to buy a replacement every now and then.

Channels cannot load

After the version 10 update, my Roku Streaming Stick+ seems to function, but none of my channels will load not even the Roku Channel. I just get a white box with the channel name that says loading with the swirl, but nothing else. The channels will not load. I have restarted the unit several times with no luck. My other 2 Roku Express are ok. Please help.

Bought the streaming stick+ for its features. Returned the first one I bought as the remote didn’t work. The next worked but would occasionally have issues with the remote. After just over 2 mos. the arrows don’t work and all I get is the bouncing roku across the screen. Tried all fixes out there and still nothing. Very frustrated. Not worth the money!!
