Would RecommendI have had two of the Roku Streaming Stick + for several years. They are still performing extremely well to this day. Easy to navigate and frequently updated. All of my favorite apps - Netflix, Disney +, YouTube TV, Hoopla, Peacock, and Pandora. I am a big Roku fan!

Didn't work on intended TV (to replace Roku 2)
Would Not RecommendI purchased this to undate from a Roku 2 we use on a 2008 720p plasma TV accepting 1080p inputs with HDCP 1.2. The Roku 2 still works fine w/ minor occasional issues that are resolved by un-plugging / re-plugging power... but I thought it was time to upgrade. However, I've only gotten a "black screen" from the Streaming Stick +. I've searched all the hints on the Roku Community... and have tried multiple HDMI ports (including the one used w/ the Roku 2), I've used it (successfully) on another...

Would RecommendI have a old Samsung tv, and its smart feature does not work property anymore, so, with this device, my computer is smart again lol. I also love I can control the tv with my phone app as well.

Difficulty with my additional Roku streaming stick
Would RecommendI got a Roku streaming stick, 3 years ago. I'm having problems getting the second stick joined with my television. I'm sure it's just me. I shouldn't try doing technical things late in the day.

Works Good - Saved Me Money
Would RecommendI purchased this Roku to replace my Xfinity cable box. It works ok. The only problem with the Xfinity app on Roku is that you can enter a specific TV station, you have to scroll up or down on the mini guide. You can't just say channel 810. Everything else works great and it saved me $6.99 a month on my Xfinity bill.

Would Not RecommendSORRY ROKU BUT I AM POSTING THIS REVIEW TO TELL THE WORLD TO BEWARE IF YOU BUY & INSTALL A ROKU STREAMING STICK PLUS. It's going on over a month and haven't heard anything from you. My install was going fine until I got to the screen where you choose pixel quality. I Believe I chose 1080I(?). When I advanced to the next screen, the screen turned green and quickly flashed a message for a second saying something like "your TV has been compromised...you have to finish......"and then the screen went...

Would RecommendI hate cable and would cut the cord if it were totally up to me, So Roku gives me programs/videos/movies I am interested in and so want to watch. It's so easy to set up! I love it!!

Would RecommendIf you are ready to ditch cable and move to streaming platforms, this is a great stating point. Lots of built-in apps, plus a search feature to find more. Very easy to install.

Would Not RecommendMy daughter gave me the 3810 and we need an extension other wise the limited extender cord pulls down the whole stick, other wise I have to plug into a power stick and that is heavy and does the same thing. Looked at excessories and when I find an extender there is no information if that is just a replacement or I can really attach as an extender cord. Have not yet signed up for contract and until I get answers I am inclined to go another route.

Would RecommendWe’ve had ours for a couple years. It’s a great product. Ignore the idiotic complaints. Most of them are not even actual Roku issues. I.e. “doesn’t have a web browser”. Roku never said it did! So maybe do your own research first, don’t blame the product. “Roku wouldn’t connect”, that’s a problem with your network. One guy “replaced the mother-board in his TV” ... are you serious? Hey... maybe next time try the Roku stick on a different TV first. We’ve been very happy with it, you likely ...
