Good solution to our backup power need

This manual transfer switch, in conjunction with Reliance’s Flush Mount Kit for (Indoor) Pro/Tran 2 Transfer Switches and a capable portable generator, was a good solution to our backup power need. Switch didn't work at first

Switch came and one circuit switch didn't operate. Called Reliance, and they sent a replacement switch, which I installed myself. Overall, pleased with item.

Easy to install

This panel was exactly what I was looking for. I bought a generator for my home and didn’t want to run extension cords, especially in the winter. If you choose the DIY route, it can be done easily with basic electrical tools (wire strippers, cutters etc.). I would suggest however having at least a little experience with electrical work. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but I felt this is one product that deserves it. We'd been on the fence about buying one for years. Excellent adapter for the 9000W generator

The generator hold up to the the transfer switch kit! Excellent. The cord is included but short for long distances.

Just what I needed

The kit worked well so I can power needed circuits from my generator. I just had to add an outside outlet to plug into. The instructions should explain the interaction with arc fault circuits to avoid confusion. It works with them but only with the main disconnect.
