works great, lugs are easy to wire up, good solid connection that supports the weight of a 30 amp cord. Just what the doctor ordered. Hard to find over here in hurricane alley, had to go 40 miles inland to find one.

Piece of cake to install. Outdoor box is ready to go. Female end to box is the safest way to go. Worked out well for me.

Solid unit, tight locking connection

This is a very high-quality inlet box the separates into two pieces for easy installation. The wire terminals are easy-to-use wire connectors, just be sure to torque them to the specified 20in-lb. The box is solid even before it is slid together with no twisting. My generator cord locks into the connector very securely.

Well made electrical box. Easy to install and wire. Note: wiring to a 30 amp circuit breaker in the main panel and installing the required interlock on the service disconnect should be accomplished by a licensed electrician. Videos available on U Tube for the well qualified DIY.

Hard To Find in or After a Disaster

When you Buy The Generator Buy this inlet Box at the same time went to Panama City took a Generator didn't have the inlet box none to be found with in 150 miles or more I gave up after 150 one way looking and used extension cords. Inlet Box and connecting cable Just Makes things easier.

This was just what I wanted and the price was even better Great outside box for my application finish product looked good

Easiest part of wiring generator to house is installing this box. Sturdy construction. Make sure lid is easy to remove before final installment.

Purchased this to hook up my generator. Didn’t want to make a sucide extension cord. This is a nice weather proof outlet. Mounted to brick with tap cons. Very solid construction An does what it is designed for. Would recommend.
