Would Not RecommendI have bought several Therma-Tru doors in the past, and have been extremely satisfied with them. I see that in the last 10 years since I have bought them quality has taken a back seat... If I didn't already have the old door removed, I would have returned this one. Fortunately, this door goes from our kitchen to garage, so it's not directly exposed to the elements. The door jamb staples protrude to the inside of the jamb, so I will need to clip those off, countersink and fill the holes. The...

Would RecommendA great many houses used fiberglass/wood doors between the house and the garage, but knowledgeable modern construction inspectors insist on a fire-rated door for that purpose. This door should prove to be a good "exterior" door to lead from the garage to the outside.
Cheap But not Cheap Enough
Would Not RecommendI took extra care in preping the rough opening making sure all was plumb and level. The door fit perfectly requiring minimum shimming. That's about where positive ends. The threshold Portion under door is made from plastic and looks cheap. The out side metal didn't end flush with brick molding which meant that the molding had to be trimmed to get the extension to fit (it was here that I found out that ThermaTru doesn't support the purchased Therma Tru door from Lowes. Great door quickly installed
Would RecommendWe had an uninsulated metal door from our garage into a hall in our house. The cold air would almost pour into the house through metal. Everyone at Lowes from the sales people to Gene who installed it were professional. We were very well pleased through the entire process. Once the door was ordered and arrived, it took a little over an hour to install it. We immediately noticed the results with the insulated door. Thank you Lowes.

Really nice!
Would RecommendJust got done installing this door, and I'm very pleased with it. The fiberglass surface looks MUCH nicer than the steel versions (fiberglass can be molded with greater detail) and is lighter to boot. Came with the brushed nickel hinges, a lot of pre hung doors still come with the brass ones. Weatherstripping is nice and seals great, fit and finish is real nice too.

Would RecommendIt's a basic exterior door of good quality at a good price, and the six panel makes it aesthetically more pleasing then the plain door we replaced. The installers did a great job and installed it quickly.
