ONCE YOU ADJUST TO THE HEIGTH YOU WANT, TURN THE LOCKING COLLAR SO WHEN YOU TURN ON THE WATER COMMONDE WATER, IT WON'T EXEND AND WATER GO EVERYWHERE.

Would RecommendIf hard water is involved, these work better than the sliding units because mineral deposits get in the slide part and inhibit the free motion!
