Sliding tubes
Would Not RecommendThis design uses two tubes. One inside the other. After adjusting the height, I placed the locking ring. Unfortunately when I turned the water back on, the water pressure overwhelms the locking ring and the two tubes separate, i.e. The outer tube shoots off if the inner and sprays water everywhere. So.... spend a few dollars more and don't buy this one...

Would RecommendWe moved into a home and the toilets were installed with the more "up to date" valve/pump kit thingies. One of them is fine but the other gave us issues. We changed it out to the older, less sophisticated version and have had NO problems since. Sometimes, it's best to keep things simple.
