Good fire rated product to use around the house.
Would RecommendGood fire rated product to use around the house. It can reflect heat and provide insulation at the same time. I've used it to cover up leaky windows until I can replace them. Aluminum tape works the best for sealing edges. Use painter's tape for temporary applications because you won't be able to get the aluminum tape off. Staples also work for attaching to wood or drywall.

Reflectix “Bubble Wrap”
Would RecommendI use this product constantly in HVAC and is a great way to add some insulation value that won’t deteriorate. It’s quite expensive at Lowe’s as a 4’ by 25’ roll is $56 plus tax. R4.2 value applied but add a 1” strip every 4’ around whatever is being insulated will provide an air gap and brings the rating to r6

I bought this for my two and one car garage but the roll didn't quite make the 2 car. I need two of these to get both garage doors. The product is light in weight and easy to cut seems to do a decent job so far. Will have to test in the cold weather though.
