Would RecommendThis insulation, while not super R value, certainly has a lot of uses. Your imagination can run pretty wild with all the places you could use it. We used it to winter wrap out beehives. Made a very neat job and was pretty quickly done. Straight R Value is about 4 for most applications and it can be laid two or three deep to double or triple that R value in only one half or three quarter's of an inch thickness. . Would RecommendWe used this product to create a heated area in the crawlspace where we run a small space heater to prevent our water pipes from freezing. It was easy to cut and tape together pieces with silver duct tape to create the enclosed area. The idea was to lessen the area that the space heater was heating and concentrate the heat in the area around the water pipes. Hopefully the pipes won’t freeze and burst like last winter!

Would RecommendJust learned about this stuff and trying this out. There are tons skeptics and i was too. My I just installed small section of floor in my mobile home thats always the coldest. Now its smilar to other rooms. Its Oct 2021 and it not really cold yet but Im confident it will do the job. I’m planning to install the 2nd layer
