Inexpensive Truck Ramp

Ramp ends do not fit 2"x8". Depth of ramp end is approximately 1 3/8". I had to notch my 2x8 to make the ramp end fit. Ramp works well enough for the price.

rough saw oak

I used solid rough sawed oak planks from the ole saw mill out on 412, and the bracket was put on using 2 and a half inch bolts cause the oak was 2 inches thick. So glad the Claremore lowes had them in stock, and I drove over from Sapulpa. It was worth it to get the mower loaded and on the trailer so now I can mow my 90 year old moms yard. Thanks!!

Ramp plates

I needed a quick set of ramps and these were a perfect fit. Plenty strong enough and very easy to get made. Recommend these to anyone who is in need of ramps for ATVs, etc.

Worked perfectly. They came with all of the mounting hardware. Used to with 2x6 to unload a snowblower from the back of a pick up.

Works great!

This is a great way to make your own ramp out of a 2×8×whatever.. Just follow the directions, and it will put together easily. A lot of these low reviews are only because they didn't read the directions clearly. THE BOARD IS NOT SUPPOSE TO GO IN THE SLOT!!! THE BOLT FITS PERFECT, JUST MAKE SURE IT IS IN FLUSH!!!

These along with 2 8 foot 2x8s made great ramps. I get a large snow blower into the back of my truck with no problems.

Reese Loading Ramp Kit

I have used these Ramp Kit ends before. They make a sturdy ramp with the addition of the 2" lumber used to build the ramps. I will certainly use them again in the future as I refurbish small utility trailers and sell them as a retirement income supplement.

Does the job

The design is easy to install on standard 2 x 8 by just drilling a couple holes and installing the supplied bolts. The aluminum is nice because it will not rust. The edges were a little sharp, but was easily remedied with some sandpaper.

Works great.

Very easy to install. Took me about 15 minutes to drill the holes and bolt them to the boards. Appear to be good quality and will hold up much longer than the 2x10 boards I mounted them to.
