What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these compression couplings for reliability and leak prevention, with most reporting zero failures and repairs completed in seconds rather than minutes. The screw mechanism and wingnut design enable tool-free installation and removal, making them accessible for all users. Many reuse the couplings across multiple repairs and appreciate their effectiveness with hardened or aged tubing. Reviewers consistently rate them superior to traditional compression fittings. A few note difficulty with certain tubing sizes or improper installation can cause leaks, though these are isolated concerns. Overall, customers consider them an essential, time-saving solution for irrigation repairs.

Would RecommendI have been using these for repairs for the past few years since I first discovered them. They work well with the aged hardened tubing in the ground and with new flexible (replacement patch) tubing. The traditional couplings (typically with blue or black rim) that you push the tubing into are OK for new installation, but frustrating for repairs. Well worth the few extra pennies.

Lifesaver
Would RecommendThis coupler worked perfectly on a line break in a tight spot. Much easier to install than a compression coupler and worth the small extra price. I purchased several for the next time my old 1/2” drip line bursts.

Easy to install
Would RecommendI bought these to repair pinhole leaks in my underground drip system. I simply cut a the small section out and pushed these into both sides of the existing tubing, no glue required. Took five minutes. Hardest part was digging up the buried tubing.....

Drip System line.
Would RecommendEvery now and then my water line for our drip system will get a split in the line. (aging lines) Lowe's always has great products to quickly repair the leak and fix the line. I recommend the Raindrip Universal Polypropylene Drip Irrigation Coupling S5600U that lowes has in stock. Has helped me save on my water bill until I can install a new line and coupler.

Great Product - Highly Recommend
Would RecommendThis simple, but effective little Raindrip drip irrigation coupling with the wingnut connector is an excellent product. As a grouchy old DIY-er living in SW desert area, I’ve struggled for years with digging, moving, replacing, patching & plugging portions of my irrigation system. And no, I don’t need a new system, thank you. So, I’m always on the look out for any cost-effective, efficient way to make my job easier. The various Raindrip coupling variations (straight, T & L) with the wing-style ...
Simple and effective
Would RecommendTried these over the traditional pressure fit couplers. Wow. These are soooo much easier to install. Trimming the 1/2 lines and installing the coupler takes about a minute. No more spit and contortionist moves required with the old pressure fit couplers.
Amazing product
Would RecommendThis product helped me for fixing the leak. The length pretty much enough even if you cut the part almost an inch and half. I had small gap between the two parts after removing the leaking part. Make sure you tight each end so that it wont have any leak in the join.

A great cuopler for drip line in the 1/2 range.
Would RecommendThese connectors save the day when connecting 1/2" ID to 5/8" drip line. I have never had one of these leak. The trick is to know how to use them. I have seen people use them wrong. DO NOT REMOVE THE NUTS ON THE ENDS. First - Twist the nuts so that the are all the way in towards the center nut. Second - Press the fitting into the drip line, wiggle it back and forth and the end should slide past the flared edge and under the nut. Third - Twist the nuts in the opposite direction to move them out a...

This universal coupler is great !
Would RecommendWe have an old irrigation system in a desert climate that constantly springs leaks and increases the water bill by a large amount. We found these at Lowes and they worked great after we found the leak, replaced the tubing that was bad and installed the coupler to bridge the gap. It is very easy to use for a DYI project. I'm going to buy more to keep on hand.
Product failure equals flooding
Would Not RecommendI set up a whole container garden system this spring using the Raindrip Universal couplings. I have a combination of 10 tees and elbows and 1 straight. In three months I have had 3 of these couplings FAIL because the tubing would just come off during a watering cycle. I have the system setup on an automatic timer which is great. But, when I come home from work and can tell that water has run from my backyard garden, down the side of my house, across my driveway and down the street... I am NOT HA...
