8 Zones, with a master valve zone

8 Zones, with a master valve zone. I have been looking for these features for a while. My last sprinkler controller would not power 2 zones at once - and with the phone app I can put the controller way out of the way.

Upgrade rain bird!

This device is smarter than for sure. I had an older model rain bird, so wiring so just way too simple. It adjust automatically to weather and if it rains, it doesn’t turn on. It’s a great device and I recommend. Great value!

Awesome WiFi timer

This Rain Bird irrigation timer is just what I needed. Setup only took 15 minutes and you definitely want to use the app for setup. It’s WiFi enabled, smart home compatible, rugged design and you’re able to customize your watering schedule.

This rain bird six station works great with the setup that I have in my sprinkler system been that I only have 3 stations at the moment but thinking about adding another station down the road. Installation was kind of easy but the programming took me a while to configure the system, I still love it because it is WiFi ready and I can control it any where with my phone,

Works great overall

This was a huge upgrade to the old controller I had. Installation was extremely easy and straightforward. My only complaint is that the WiFi strength is weak and doesn’t won’t connect to my router. I’ll likely have to get a signal booster. Other than that, it controls the sprinkler system flawlessly.

Easy to use irrigation controller

The setup was fast and easy with the mobile app. It’s working very well. My plants are happy. The mobile app is great for monitoring and making changes to my watering days and times. The seasonal adjustment feature makes saving water easy.

Easy install and setup but...

The app is a little slow during the setup process. After everything is configured it appears to work fine. Don't pay much attention to those who are complaining about weak Wi-Fi signal but, do be patient as the app updates the firmware, cycles through connecting to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Very easy to install. Front panel layout and the button arrangements are great.

Beta version app

A bit confusing - there are two different apps for this. The one that actually works is the Beta version. I cannot get it to connect to my wifi but it creates it's own wifi/bluetooth connection. Not as simple and intuitive as I had hoped but it is functional.

WiFi settings are unreliable.

Like the WiFi capability, but have had some difficulty setting it. I have changed the controller time several times but it fails to stay set. Consequently the watering does not occur when it should

Older technology; slow response to app instruction

I'm used to it now -- pretty much. I didn't find the app very user friendly (obvious how to navigate it without asking someone who lives in the tech and app world). It is slow to connect through the wifi and respond by starting the sprinklers. Sometimes it starts the water within a minute; other times it takes 3-5 minutes, or doesn't start at all. I have tried it in the same location of the house, so it is not where I am. I've been told the 2.5 (vs the 5 options of wifi) is older technology. I ...
