Easy and user friendly

Needed something for my parents large yard to control the sprinklers. This is easy and fantastic to operate. Easy to hookup and very user friendly! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great system to control their irrigation system

Great Upgrade to a Smart WiFi Sprinkler Timer

Great upgrade!!

Installation was very easy, just took a picture of the wiring on my old controller and hooked the wires up the same way in the new Rain Bird. I'd say the toughest thing for me so far is navigating the app, but I'm getting a handle on that. Thing is, once the schedule is set, I don't really need to use the app unless I want to change the schedule or do extra watering. App was a Billy fussy but straightforward system

Great product. Easy to install. Easy to start the setup process but the app made things a bit more difficult than the rest of the entire process. I like the settings, timers, zones and all that fun stuff once I got it all looking good. I had a previous rain bird unit for 15 years and saw this as a nice upgrade.

This Rain Bird is simple to install, configure, and works well. I really enjoy having the ability to connect it to Wi-Fi and manage it from anywhere. The screw terminals, for the wiring, are great and hold securely. No need to hook the wires. The app works well, though it takes quite a while to configure. Nice four station smart irrigation controller that comes with power cord. Mounting controller to a wall requires tools 🧰. Your current system will have to be hooked up to the controller. You will need to download app to your phone 📱. Instructions are included and setup time can vary by experience and location.

Control your rain from afar

We were looking to replace our controller and we picked one because it has all the new connectivity that we were looking for. Very easy to install with included hardware. The cover pops open easily for wiring and it is all quite simple to set-up. App works well for our use, with setting up schedules and saving water in our dry climate. We could easily connect to the Wi-fi and it just works. Don't have to be home to mess around with the settings and can easily adjust while traveling.

Very easy to install & set up WIFI sprinkler timer

I have always wanted the capability of being able to adjust or turn on or off my sprinkler system remotely. I have an irrigation system that runs from a well so I need to be careful not to water needlessly. I replaced my existing Rainbird ESP-TM2 with the ARC 8. The ARC 8 has full WIFI functionality. The way to go for watering!

I've used others and this was by far the easiest, most efficient way to program water stations and times. Managing all of this from the phone app makes it SO user friendly! With my old system, I had to stand outside at the faucet and try to get the zones and times all programmed...I hated that! I loved sitting in my recliner and getting it all set up!

the installation was pretty easy and directions were easy to follow. You need a few screws to install the box. Programming the box was easy through the mobile app. the app will allow you to create profile based on where you live and should adapt the watering schedule based on rainfall in the area. The one downside is it isn't always accurate with the weather, so sets rain delays when it doesn't rain. that doesn't happen all the time, but enough to have to run manually.
