Would Not RecommendLowe's changed the size outer diameter of this union. Now my old unions on a hose to fill my totes will not fit! I have 6 totes 275 gal each 4 for filling and 2 I fill up in town to bring to my water storage drinking and house hold applications. I now had to buy 6 new Unions to replace the ones on the totes and water line that I fill the totes with. I only discovered this after I bought the last 2 totes so instead of costing $14.00 it now is almost $60.00 with new line and an additional 6 union...
Cheaper made than competition, and more expensive. deg

Fast 1" coupling replacement
Would RecommendWorks well for coupling replacement in my sprinkler system. A little larger than the original but does the job.

Would Recommendwell made, pipes fit nicely, no additional prep needed. Threaded together with no problems and did not leak.

Would RecommendI used these unions on the inlet and outlet sides of an irrigation pump to allow for easy disconnect from the plumbing and removal for service. The unions did the trick and so far seem to hold up to the harsh outdoor environment.
