Would RecommendWe actually bought this product to repair a beach umbrella that had snapped in the wind. It fit perfectly around the pole and the two ends twist it all snugly into place. I know this is a plumbing part, but sometimes it’s just what is needed to repair another issue.
Use this instead of Sliding Repair Coupling!!!
Would RecommendI used this once before for a sprinkler repair, but then chose the version with a sliding section. I figured that would be reliable due to solvent joints since it will be buried. WRONG! That leaked through the sliding section, so I cut it out to return and replaced it with this version. So far, so good - again.

Would RecommendUsed this coupling to repair irrigation line break where the PVC line had insufficient flex to use preferred glued slip coupling. Youtube videos helpful, but learned through trial and error to keep threads clean of dirt (needed to excavate a bigger hole), the gap between the butt ends of the pipe being repaired should be as small as possible so the gaskets seal properly.
