Blew apart under pressure
Would Not RecommendWhen I saw this at Lowe's I thought it would be a nice way to join PVC pipe without cement. But after installation, at pressure of about 40 psi, the pipe blew out of the fitting. Afterward, I read on-line that the pipes must be restrained, which was not an option for my installation. It's too bad the limitation was not posted at the store.
