Would RecommendWe needed something simple for the patio. We settled on this mold and have not looked back. It was easy enough for me to do on my own and I enjoyed the sense of accomplishment when it was done. This is how it turned out: http://881W.GIPH.IO Make sure and rent a mixer if you want to save your back and if you want a smooth finish on the top just lightly spray with water on the top and it will make it look a lot better. Good luck!
Great piece that yields great results
Would RecommendDoenst get much more simple than this. I bought 50 pound bags as they were cheaper overall and easier to handle. Used about 1.5 bags per mold. End result is amazing

Worked Great For Our New Outdoor Patio
Would RecommendQuikrete Walk Maker Patio Build. It was very easy. Make sure and mix the concrete well. Our Results: https://giph.io/v.php?pm=881W
Awesome, even for a beginner
Would RecommendI used this years ago at our first house. I made a 50' walkway next to the house on top of soil. The area was fairly level and the concrete filled in so any imperfections did not show. The path looked great. The back yard had a large area of old brick that was sunken. I used a yard of crushed stone to mostly level it, really just filling in the low spots. I thought the area would look too busy with many small stones so I cut out the interior divisions of the mold and made large 'flagstones'. It ...
Everyone is right about this! It's great!
Would RecommendMy wife and I just used this to make a 42 foot horseshoe-shaped walk and it couldn't be easier to use! The hardest part was mixing 30 bags of 80lb concrete. We found that a gallon of water is pretty good for each 80lb bag and used a hoe and a wheelbarrow to mix. One bag lasts a bit longer than the mold, which is 2ft by 2ft by 2 inches deep. We started at 8AM and finished around 3PM. We didn't smooth the tops of the concrete as much as we probably should have, but other than that it turned out gr...

Great product. Best with 2 people working together
Would RecommendGreat product, pretty time consuming so best to have 1 person mixing the concrete and one doing the molds, a contractor at Lowe's suggested spraying Pam on the inside of the mold to help it release easier. Be sure if you use the concrete color to mix it in the same as I have a lot of different color molds. I tried to upload a picture but it's to large of a file.
Excellent mold
Would RecommendIs great and easy for people without experience after doing a two or three is fast is better with two people but it is possible with only one if you do not have someone else, in the package explain that it takes 80 pounds of concrete per mold but no. For 8 molds you need 400 lbs. Or 5 bags of 80 lbs. Concrete at about 50 lbs. Per 2x2 ft. Mold that would be 16 ft. Long by 2 ft. Wide sidewalk, concrete price is $ 3.45 per bag of 80 Pounds so it is a very easy and inexpensive way to fix your yard i...
Great Product!
Would RecommendI purchased this Walk Maker after pondering this DIY for a long time. I purchased a only a few bags of Quikrete because I could barely lift the bags. I mixed a bottle of color to my mix after following the instructions and it turned out great. Make sure you don't make your mix to dry because it is hard to fill in all the crevices if you do. I may purchase a second mold to move a little quicker. I will update later as my project progresses.
I feel like an Empowered Artist
Would RecommendVery easy to use! The detailed directions are easy to follow, making first time users look like professionals. This was my first time to do anything like this and is turning out beautiful, even for me! I am disabled from 2 failed spinal fusions and can not walk on my own, I'm doing everything on my hands and knees and on my own, except for having someone lifting the 80lb concrete bag into my mixing pan for me. Then from there, I'm mixing the concrete and doing all the rest on my own. It takes me...

Walking on a Walkmaker
Would RecommendEasy to use with great results. Instructions said to use one 80# or two 60# bags of concrete per use. I consistently found that one 60# bag of concrete would fill the form with a little bit left over. Online videos and instructions make it easy to use. The plastic form is easy to clean when finished. My wife liked the results so much that I got to do a lot more sidewalk than I had planned.

Great product
Would RecommendI bought 2 of these forms and 18 80 lb bags of quikcrete 5000. We also bought Concrete coloring. 2 Concrete tubs to mix it up , a concrete hoe.The hardest part was mixing the concrete. Next time I'm renting a concrete mixer. But this a great product
Works Great
Would RecommendThis works great and the result looks good as well. One of the keys is to make sure the concrete mix is very thick/firm not thin or runny. If it won't hold it's shape in the mixing tray (Lowes item 19251) it won't hold it's form in this mold. If it's too wet during mixing add some more concrete mix from the next bag. I used a short piece of 2x2 for the corners and 2x4 to tamp the concrete into the mold. If it just flows into the mold it's not thick enough and won't hold it's shape when you pull ...
So far in theory and plans
Would RecommendIn theory and in planning it looks great but I haven't used it just yet, I plan to do a walk way with this molding.

Thought about it and decided to return it
Would Not RecommendI looked at the mold several times and decided to return it. Since it looks to make seperate "stones" they will be at all different levels after the first winter in WNY. I don't want an unlevel surface or "stones of different heights" for someone to trip on. It's just not what I need for the area I have. Maybe a different mold may work.

Walkmaker
Would RecommendI bought 4 of these to pour a walkway thinking I might be able to be more efficient. As it turned out, I could only keep up with mixing, filling, and finishing two of them at a time (so, I plan to return the other two). It is fairly tedious to fill all of the corners of each "stone" over and over and over, however, the finished product looks great. The forms that I received are identical and I cannot tell which one I used in which space. If you place two forms next to each other, you will end u...

I love my new walkway
Would RecommendI am a 55 year old woman with some weakness issues, and I was worried that it would be too hard to use, but I had no problems at all. I bought the 60 pound bags of concrete because I knew I could not handle the 80 pound bags. It took me a couple of batches but I figured out I needed one 60 pound bag and two soda cup scoops from another bag to make the right amount to fill the mold. I put the mold down, pushed my garden cart kind of over the mold, mixed the concrete in the garden cart and then du...
