After about a month of using this vac several times per week, it cleans a large, carpeted, country home with two young children and a Labrador Retriever exceptionally well! It picks up dog hair perfectly, is very quiet, and is easy to push and pull on medium and short pile carpet. Quality At A Great Price

I replaced my Bernina 6500 with this Prolux 7000. I am very pleased with it. It isn't too heavy and I'm impressed with the suction and fluffiness of carpet when done. I was disappointed that no brush head comes with the wand, but they tell me that I will be able to purchase one - and I plan on doing so.

Well worth the price

We set a budget for $200 for a vacuum cleaner. We rent our house and few homes in Kauai have carpeting. We now have Berber and didn't want to invest a whole lot in a vacuum. Did an enormous amount of research online before we decided to exceed our budget and go with the New Prolux 7000. And we are glad we did. Handles beautifully. We truly like everything about it. If you can spend this much on a vacuum cleaner we think you'll do well. I expected to spend a lot more with this level of quality so...

A VERY GOOD MACHINE OVERALL

First, let me say cost was a factor. I was not in the market for an $800 machine but the performance seems to be comparable, only at a much better price. I haven't used it long enough to rate durability but here are the pros and cons I've found so far: PROS The body is attractive and seems to be well made. Well worth the money

It's a beast! Easy assembly, extremely efficient, and all the gadgets needed to clean. Very solid. Highly recommend. Time will tell how well it performs but I'm very optimistic. Happy for the purchase, no buyers remorse whatsoever. Took time to find the right vacuum and this one looks like it. Knowing motor is sealed is very comforting as well.

I like the new vacuum we've got

The vacuum is powerful but not very noisy and it is pretty easy to maneuver. It also looks great and doesn't take a lot of storage space.

Great Purchase!

Very pleased with this vacuum. It does a great job cleaning and brushing the carpet. The attachments and hose are a great bonus. We used a Filter Queen prior to the Prolux, and I'm loving this better. The only con is that it doesn't lay down to get under chairs, other then that it's fabulous!

this is a high quality machine. the fit and finish is top notch. i appreciate the on board tool storage although the mini-head attachment is a bit obtrusive. the cord is long enough that i can vacuum my entire 1000 sqft house from one outlet. the noise level is acceptably low--my dog is fine with it running, but my son is not. the hepa filter seems to do a fine job of keeping dust out of the exhaust air. the performance is very good on our area rugs, but not as good on our smooth surface floors....

Bought this vacuum to replace an older Sharp/Panasonic that gave up the ghost after about 15 years. The vacuum arrived nicely packaged just days after placing my order. It was easy to put together, requiring a flat head screwdriver (or dime) to put the handle on. I love that all of the tools are integrated into the design of the vacuum. High Quality Vac @ a reasonable price

Prolux 7000 - A Great Value HEPA Vacuum

My first impression of this vacuum was that I liked the color, a Candy Apple Red Metallic. It was easy to unpack and assemble, just the handle needed to be attached. Note: you will need a flat blade screwdriver to attach the handle, but a quarter will work if you don't have a screwdriver handy. Prolux 7000 - Providing Excellent Performance at a Great Value

I wanted to wait three months before I wrote a review to ensure there were no performance declines after a few uses. This vacuum lives up to all quality and performance details.
