Love this vacuum. Easy to assemble, easy to push. The power of this upright is truly phenomenal on low and higher napped carpets and on hard surfaces. I like that I can adjust the suction power so that I can do my smaller throw rugs without them getting sucked up into the beater brushes and that also allows me to use the wand to clean my blinds and drapes. Very good quality upright vacuum

Very good quality upright vacuum, Plenty of power . . . suction is great. Has metal construction where most needed . Dual LED headlamps are great to see into the dark areas. The PET attachment works very well also . I would give this upright vacuum a 9.9 out of 10 .

Best machine EVER!

I had to stop vacuuming to come write this review! I absolutely LOVE this vacuum cleaner! I used to be a Dyson snob, for years. But it was time for new one - one with an effective HEPA filter. Awesome. Easy to use, clean, quiet, great with pet hair. We're happy to have a solid unit. There are real materials here, not cheap plastics that break. Recommended.

Greatest Vacumn Ever

Sometimes it is hard to believe reviews as to whether the writer has the same situation as yours and whether you would use the product in the same way. This vac works as advertized. Multiple level of pile carpet, tile, hardward floors and area rugs. Two negatives. The size of the unit is large and will not fit into all nooks and crannys. Difficult to use on scatter rugs. Other than that, I am replacing 2 Hoovers.

I've had this vacuum for a few months now and I really like it. It is easy to carry up and down the stairs. The hose and attachments and air flow regulator are fantastic! I recently had my hardwood floors refinished and used the hose to clean all the debris that settled on blinds, baseboards, chandeliers, and everywhere actually! It performed great. Good Vacuum

The vacuum works well on carpets. The bags hold significantly more dirt and debris than our previous bag less vacuum. The wand with attachments and small vacuum head work really well. We still get the 'dog smell' from the vacuum which we had hoped would go away with this unit. The beater brush really helps do a good job on regular carpets. I wish it had a manual height control, an on/off switch for the roller, a swivel head, and another stage in filtration to lock out smells.

I was convinced to purchase this vacuum following Great Vacs' recommendation and after reading so many positive reviews on this and other sites. Much better than my old Dyson

I purchased this vacuum to replace a broken dyson after reading the reviews. I was not disappointed. The difference in quality is like night and day. The dyson cheap plastic parts broke from normal usage. The quality of the prolux was immediately evident as soon as I took it out of the box. It is well made. After doing a lot of searching, and being very unhappy with the prior purchase of a name brand vacuum, decided on the Prolux 7000. This vacuum has been everything I wanted and more. This vacuum has great suction. Our carpet is nine years old and it brings up the pile as if it were new. I also am very fond of how the attachments are mounted right on the back of the vacuum. It's electric cord is of sufficient length and on/off switch is in a very convenient place. I was very surprised when I unpackaged it to find that it was bright red!

Best vacuum ever

Best vacuum ever! It did such a great job sucking up all of the dog hair with the hose that it became clogged. After we unclogged it, it went back to being the best vacuum ever. My husband loves to use this almost more than I do!!
