We used a Dyson for 10 years, and various plastic parts started breaking off, including the "helper handle" that is needed to get the vacuum upstairs, the foot lever, and the entire piece housing the wheels and beater bar. Love This Vacuum
I would have given this vacuum 5 stars, but the floor tool that Great Vacs provided would only stay on with a bit of duct tape on the inside of the tool. They were great as as company. They even sent me another tool, which does not normally come with the vac, when the first one would just fall off. The second on does the same, but the duct tape worked. Otherwise this vac is great. It's easy to maneuver and does a good job picking up the dirt. Love having tools on board. Wish it was a litt...

Sturdy vacuum

Bought the Prolux 7000 for my girl friend. She loves it! It is great machine whisper quiet and well built. she is a clean-a-holic and can burn up other machines in a few months. beater bar is steel and the wand is steel. she loves the carry handle and the weight for a full size sweeper is manageable when going upstairs.
