It's described as 15-in "S" however, that would be more accurate if the wording "total length of the tube" were included in the description. The actual linear length is approximately 10.5" plus the .5" for the threads that screw into the supply line. Too short to reach plumbing behind wall

Just as other reviewers have stated, the length of pipe coming out of the wall before the arm curves upward is about 1 inch too short for the way my plumbing was installed. Several commenters have said that maybe people are installing the wrong end into the wall. This is not true. The way the pipe curves, it is very clear which end needs to go through the wall. Does not fit.

Many shower connections do not provide for enough clearance for this product to swing up and down to secure fit position.

I used the to raise the elevation of a shower head so I could add an in-line filter without losing clearance - it works just as expected.

I bought to use for my rain head shower but its not really meant for that. It doesn't project enough.

Works great. Extends shower head out away from wall so you can put a soap holder hanging from it and the shower head is out of the way.

Sadly, this product did not fit in my shower. I bought it because I needed to extend/lower the existing shower arm and this did not work for me. It is an attractive option for perhaps another installation.
