Would Not RecommendI experienced the same issues that others repeat. The items does not thread into the drop elbow easily. When it finally seated, it leaked. I removed it and rewrapped with "more" telfon tape. It still leaked. Oh well, I was warned.

Hard to install, looks nice, good height
Would Not RecommendThe quality control on the threads is definitely an issue. I think the threads are fine, it's the powercoat that causes issues. Was hard to install in the wall, and the shower head was difficult as well. If a tap was available, I'd tap this first before trying to install which should help.
It is a nice finish.

Reasonable design except threads
Would Not RecommendPerfectly reasonable rise of the gooseneck. Problem was that the 1/2" cap I had to pressure check wouldn't thread on, but it threaded onto all the other shower heads I was replacing (and replacements). Even the shower head struggled to thread on easily.
