Would RecommendMy Kitchenaide refrigerator has the filter about eye high inside the compartment. It's always a little uneasy for me to consider the possibility of leaks inside the refrigerator if the filter somehow doesn't prove compatible with the fridge. But, if you can screw in a light bulb, the filter will work for you. Just pay attention to get the model that the fridge manufacturer has allowed for and you are good to go.

Good alternative to the OEM
Would RecommendGreat Value for the filter. This filter works well as an alternative to the OEM filters at a much better price. The taste seems to be as good as the original filter. Not sure yet about the duration but it says that it should last about as long.
