What Customers Are Saying
The metal male hose mender is generally considered a good and cost-effective solution for repairing damaged garden hoses. Many customers found it easy to install and it successfully stopped leaks. However, some reported issues with the included hose clamps, which were described as low quality and prone to rusting or not tightening sufficiently. A few customers also noted the mender did not fit their specific hose size. Overall, the product seems to work well for most users, but the quality of the accompanying clamps is a potential concern.

Bad Design
Would Not RecommendIt's a bad design. This thing is just a leak waiting on you to install it. Can't get the hose clamp tight enough for this thing to work. It's because of the gap in the center where the hose clamp is supposed to clamp. They had to mess with a proven design and FAILED. Get the standard design with the four ridges.
Fitted well
Worked as designed

Works like it should, better with additional clamp
Would RecommendThis male-end hose mender worked as advertised and intended. It would be even better if it came with 2 clamps rather than 1 for an even more secure fit.

My old hose is again working perfectly with leaks
Would RecommendThe price was reasonable. The repair of the hose only took a couple of minutes. Now my old hose is ready to go!

Made as cheap as can be
Would Not RecommendBought a male and female to repair my hose. These will work for a short time. The metal is paper thin. What has happened to being able to get a QUALITY product at a reasonable price. These are neither.
