Would Not RecommendThe "brass" part of this product is not true brass and appears to be only coated. After less than a year in use, when I tried to disconnect my hose with a Female version of this product from my brass hose bib, it was completely impossible to remove as this product had corroded in a way that it almost welded itself to my hose bib. In the end, I had to replace my hose bib and replace this product on the end of my hose.

I thought I would give this a try and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to install and how well it worked once I connected a new nozzle. No leakage at all and glad to have extended the life of the hose at such a low cost. Seems solid enough to last many years.

My hose is usable again. My nozzle broke and with our hard water it was cemented onto the end of my water hose. Cut it off and easily installed this piece and voila, usable hose.
