I was apprehensive to purchase anything but the name brand filter as the instructions say not to for obvious reasons. But these are about 20% cheaper and moneys tight. I twisted it into place exactly as the name brand. It fit fine and is working very well. I’m pleased.

Easy Installation. Lots of floaters

Installation was pretty easy, just twist it in and you hear the water gushing after the connection is made. I appreciate the date sticker to remind me when I installed this and when to change it. The previous OEMs I bought didn't come with that. Very helpful visual reminder. I followed the instructions and ran about 2 ½ gallons of water through it before checking the quality. Easy to install water filter

First of all, I was very impressed with the clear directions. Also, the arrow on the filter was well-marked so I knew where to start the installation in my refrigerator. It easily fit into the refrigerator, and also had another arrow to indicate where to end the installation. After installation, it took about 3 gallons of water that I had to dispense for it to get back to normal water pressure. Good replacement water filter!

Filter seems to be of good quality, fits well, packaged properly. Good replacement for other brands normally costing $32-$50 bucks. I see no problems with this Project Source filter.

Dependable replacement refrigerator water filter

I received this filter for a GE fridge that is probably about 15-20 years old. It replaces the GE MWF series of filter. It was a good fit and very easy replacement. Excellent Filter and would Recommend

Excellent filter. It arrived sealed and well packaged. It installed easily. It is an exact fit and matches the original equipment. The water from the dispenser tastes great and I have not seen any discoloration to the ice as some filters can do.

Project Source Refrigerator Filter was installed

Project Source refrigerator water filter was installed after removing existing filter.It was an easy installation following installation instructions.After running 2.5 gallons of water from the dispenser,I found the water tasting excellent with no plastic taste that I had experienced with my old filter.I recommend this product

Did not correct odor

Received the product. I was that the product was shipped in its original box without any tamper resistant seal or tape. Likewise, the "sanitary cap" had no tamper-resistant seal nor tape that held it in place. I read and easily followed the detailed installation instructions without incident. Missing from the user manual, was a product "parts list." This became clear when I reviewed the troubleshooting table. Good Water Filter

Easy to replace. Water tastes very good using this filter. No after taste. Water comes out crystal clear. It’s made in the US so I’m quite confident that harmful chemicals are not used to filter the water. Water flows very well when dispensing.

Great Quality Water Filter

We have used Project Source water filters before on our current fridge and had good luck with them so I prefer purchasing the Project Source filters over other brands. We have a well which produces hard water so we have to have a water softener and since the fridge is where we get the majority of our drinking water a good quality filter is important. I like the fact that the G-1 states it uses coconut shell carbon for filtering. We don't think twice about drinking our well water from the fridge...

Great Fridge Water Filter

This product is well made and fit as a replacement cartridge in our fridge perfectly. It was easy to install and came packaged very well. The water and ice taste Great! I am not sure what the cost of this filter is since we received as a trial product but if it costs less than the fridge brand filters we will definitely purchase this one for our next replacement.

Great Filter

I like this filter for the taste of the water that comes from my GE frig. It is very easy to install and you can do it without any water being sprayed all over the refrigerator. These filters have kept my ice make clean and free of sediment that a person usually finds in an ice cube without filters.

Works perfectly

The project source water filter worked perfectly. It’s always a little scary going with a a different brand but I’m so happy I did. The filter fit perfectly and is working just like my old ones did but at a fraction of the cost. Can get nearly two of these replacement filters for the price of one of the competitors. The packaging was simple yet adequate. The instructions were very clear as well as readily available contact information in case I had any questions.

GE MWF refrigerator water filter

These are a solid replacement GE MWF water filter. Twist on, twist off, I like to note install date on filter with a Sharpie. You will need to run several cups of water through filter to remove sediments, charcoal dust, etc. The same if true for factory water filters. I’ve not noticed any water pressure issues or leaking. The filter fits and works just like the more expensive GE filter. It screws in easily and fits and filters well. I’ll never pay the higher price for a filter again!

Good replacement filter

This item took a long time to arrive. Once I received it, it was very easy to install. Directions were clear and easy to follow. I had no issues with leaks. I ran about 1.5gallons through the filter until the water ran clear. Saved the water to water my plants! I use the water filter daily and no leaks have developed and the water tastes great. I recommend this replacement filter for the name brand.

Perfect replacement for GE MWF refrigerator filter

Very easy to install / replace the old filter; fits perfectly. I did not notice any difference in the taste, color or water quality comparing to the manufacture version. I have a GE side by side refrigerator that uses MWF fiiter. I'd highly recommend as alternative option for the branded version. Not sure how soon I will need to replace it but supposedly it should last 6 months or 300 Gal.
