6-Month Twist-in Refrigerator Water Filter G-1

I received the replacement filter just in time for current water filter which had just set off the reminder for filter replacement. Instruction were easy to follow and was extremely easy to change out.

Perfect Fit and Easy to Install

This water filter cartridge is very easy to replace and fits our refrigerator perfectly. The product packaging was fine. Simply open the box, remove cartridge from plastic wrap, and pull the protective cover from inlet. Then, uscrew the old cartridge and twist the new one in place. Finally, dispense a few cups of water to purge any air from the new cartridge and lines. The entire process took me less than one minute. GE 6 month twist in refrigerator filter

I was most interested in this filter for my refrigerator, to help increase water flow, improve taste, and change out my old filter. not as good as oem

This filter was easy to install easy to activate but performance of the filter leaves a lot to be desired. my old oem filter was far better the biggest complaint and really only complaint is i still taste the chlorine it is was very apparent i would not recommend this filter

Great Alternate to OEM

The fit of this filter was a direct match for my GE filter. The filter was quick to fill and rinse clean on installation. The taste of the water is the same as far as I can tell. However, I have done no testing on the output from this filter. It has so far held up for a few months and output level is consistent and the refrigerator has not asked me to replace it as of yet. I'm very happy with this filter and is a solid economical alternative to the OEM filter.

Great filter

These things work just as good as the ones from the manufacturer of the fridge itself. But are halfthe cost. Ive purchased them before as well as getting oneto review as well.

Good Value Filter

I have had the filter in now for a month. The first couple days I was skeptical cause it tasted a little funny. I think I should have probably run a gallon or two through the filter before I drank it. The water where I live is not the worst tasting but is not the greatest either. It often can have too much chlorine but with this filter I have not tasted chlorine or other nasty tastes. G-1 is an excellent replacement for the MWF filter

Great Generic Filter

Instead of the high cost of GE filters this one does the trick for a whole lot less. I have a GE stainless side by side and this filter was a perfect match for it. I plugged it in, it filled and cycled the water through perfectly for ice and water.

Solid water filter

It filters water. Water is fine and the price is right. No issues, the fit was perfect and it seems well made. Did not feel cheap or anything like that.

junk in 60 days

I have 2 refrigerators with filtered water. This filter is junk in less than 60 days. I will have to buy the $60 GE filter, I guess.

Good replacement for OEM water filter.

Very good replacement filter for GE refrigerators. Packaged well including a plug/cap for the top. Fitment was good and no leaks. Filter provided clean water and did not take long to clear.

I drink a lot of water from the dispenser on the refrigerator. This filter is a more economical replacement than the name brand filter. It has performed perfectly.
