Works great

In my 20 years of having a sliding glass door, this is the first time I've had to replace the lock. This lock works great.

Lock replacement

This is the 3rd time in 7 years we have had to replace the lock in our sliding glass door. Our dog jumps on the door and messes with the lock. When it is first installed it is so snug it takes 2 hands to unlock it. It works and holds the position, locked or unlocked, perfectly. After about 2-3 weeks it loosens up to work like normal. We bought 2 so we have one on hand the next time.

Does not work correctly

It works with a little finagling but did not work correctly for my door. This was the only option at Lowe’s so had to go with it for a lock.

Sliding Glass Door Lock

Perfect fit! Holes, size and lock mechanism lined up perfectly. No additional cutting or drilling necessary. In fact, the only tool required was a Phillips screwdriver.

New Sliding Door Lock

Old lock busted in the frigid weather, found replacement at Lowes in minutes, and had it installed in almost same amount of time. It locks better than the original, 0 wiggle!

Easy to install and fit perfectly. Was glad to see it was such a quick fix for our sliding door that suddenly wouldn't lock anymore!

Works Fine

I don't know how hard these other people are beating these things up to make them fail so quick. I just don't like that it's "springy" and bounces my lock back to unlock if I don't get it right.

Mama said lock you out

So I installed this lock to lock you out. Easy to install, nice tight locking movement... don't forget to tie a string or use locking pliers to hold the lock out so that you don't lose it inside of the door.

Fits right, easy to install, but breaks easily

The lock that came with our sliding glass door lasted probably 7 years with regular use (dogs and kids going in/out often).
