What a Transformation! Simply Gorgeous!

I am thrilled with the transformation. These were easy to install and transformed my kitchen from drab to fab! My home is roughly 15 years old so the can and outer rim are one piece, I had to slightly bend the interior housing if my can lights with pliers in order to screw in the pendant. Other then figuring out this modification they were easy to install.

Easy installation

I bought this to up the ambience of our bar area, but didn’t want to go through hiring an electrician etc. It was soooo easy to install. Did the whole thing myself! I also purchased a pendant shade that looks beautiful! Accomplished exactly what I wanted.

Works well, pretty easy to set up, getting the length right takes a little back and forth but overall it's not that hard to set up.

Easy kitchen update

These were easy to install. We had can lights and wanted a new look over the kitchen island. Very cost effective way to do it. Then you can pick the pendant shades you like.

Buyer Beware

Not as easy as you think. Not as easy as advertised. My people spent many, many hours trying to make this work. But THERE IS NO WAY to secure the plate to the ceiling. NO WAY. We have worked and worked, gerryrigged it, used various products. The plate falls away from the ceiling, and right now we have a small Edison bulb and NO SHADE. And I am in a mess. Don't try to shortcut around getting an electrician and a REAL light fixture. It's a waste of time.

Works, Easy

This requires your fixture (the part where you screw in the bulb) to hold the weight of this and whatever you hang on it. It has no mounting brackets or anything for added support. It worked in my case and I added a 3 lb pendant to it. Just be aware that while easy, there are certain requirements to be met.

Didn’t want recessed lighting anymore and this is just what I wanted! It looks beautiful and I love the modern look.

Great option

Light was super easy to install and looks great! I used a decorstive ball of vines for the globe. I also have the versatilty to switch the light from pendant to cannister at anytime.

Updated Vanity with Portfolio Bronze Pendant Light

Watch the installation video, I was kind of puzzled until I watched it...Super easy installation. Great, inexpensive solution to update my master bathroom vanity area. Stared with 60 watt LED soft white bulbs as recommended which did not provide enough light. Changed to 75 watt LED daylight bulbs, which provided more light. I think Im still trying to get used to it.... I may try frosted bulbs to soften the reflection from glass lampshades and mirrors. Looks great though.

Pendant Lights

Wife wanted to replace four recessed lights over kitchen island. She had purchased some decorative globes for the pendant lighting. Found Lowes video on YouTube and they looked easy to install. And they were ... once I figured out that I first needed to replace the eyeball recessed light fixture with a standard recessed light fixture. Then all went as shown.

ingenious idea!

This clever invention turns any "can" light into a pendant. Buy the kit, a shade and just twist into the existing can opening. It also includes an 8 inch canopy so you can be sure that the canopy covers the opening. You can adjust the length of the light by winding the cord into the opening. There are lots of shades online...I got mine from Lowes, as they had beautiful seeded glass ones for $20.00
