White Lights Are Not Warm

The lights and remote work fine. The default seemed to be white when I first turned them on. The only thing is that theses lights are an extremely cool white light which is terrible if you just want the white light only. The color change options are neat but are limited compared to the color change options that newhouse string lights provide. Newhouse also has two different color white light.

Very Nice Lights

These are really neat lights and while expensive they are worth the money. I like the multi color option it provides and frankly the white is best. My mother saw them and had me buy a set for her place. Well made, heavy duty lights.

Remote didnt work

Remote didnt work at all. The overall appearance was tacky and dimmer then the clear ones I have from same company. I didnt get to see them in one solid color so I can only imagine that would be better then the blinking in every different color looking like a cheezy party. Totally not what I expected.

Great Looking Lights but that is it!

Everyone is having the same problem with these lights, in that they always come back on in red. Portfolio said they are warranty for 2 years to take them back to Lowes, where I purchased them. I just called Lowes and they only have a 90 day return policy. I bought these in May and have problems with them and have to keep them. Ridiculous.

Awesome Lights for the Prics

Picked these up on sale and am very pleased with them. You can choose whichever solid color you want, or select from different effects. These are great for hanging on our RV awning.

Great Quality/Easy to Install

Pros: The lights look amazing on our back porch and the different color selection is great for different themes, moods, or holidays. Cons: While it’s not that much of a con, the power box is a little large in size and based on the placement on the cord, it’s somewhat tricky to hide or place. I had them professionally installed and was thrilled with the results. We enjoyed them for about 1-2 weeks and then they went bad. Just like everyone else said. Turned them on, only red. No point for a remote

It took me a while to figure this one out. Remote only works when you hold directly next to black box near end of the power cord. Not sure what the point of having a remote is if you actually have to stand immediately next to a box (which is hanging from pergola) They might as well have switched on the box. Poor quality for price - Remote sensory sucks

I’m sorry I even bought these while they were on sale ($60). I wouldn’t spend more than $10 on another set of these lights. Unfortunately, I’d like another set to complete the area they’re hung, but they’re apparently discontinued – and when I am able to find a set, it’s obviously a used return, MARKED AT FULL PRICE. Remote quit working

The lights themselves look great however as other reviews pointed out, the remote is a piece of junk. Bought 2 strings, 1 remote failed out of the box, the other worked twice before failing. I was uncomfortable paying so much for string lights, guess I should have listened to my gut.

Love the lights, holds up to being outside

Love the lights, they hold up to being outside in this crazy Missouri weather. I do wish the remote worked thru the window so I didn’t have to open window or take the remote outside to change colors.
