This is my third system one burned in house fire last one just wore out.Looked at some newer kinds but came back to pet safe because they work have Great Dane's I have the stubborn dog collars and they will keep a 200 pound dog in the yard. I also use pet safe doggy doors.Have used them for over 20 years.Also great customer service 🐕‍🦺

Receivers stop working

We have had the system for about 4 years for 1 dog. We added a 2nd dog less than 2 years ago and a 3rd shortly after. The 3rd reciever rarely works and now the 2nd dogs receiver has now stopped working. We have tried all the steps. I tried reaching out for support via call and chat. Apparently, they must have alot of issues because of the wait times. Just disappointing.

Works for the most part

We’ve had this system for over a year now and haven’t had issues until my dachshund managed to somehow break off the collar module. The prongs were ripped out completely, so there was no fixing the collar. My only complaint about this product is that there needs to be an option for a smaller mod for smaller dogs. My dachshund I believe got his caught on something bc it sticks out so far off his neck and he just pulled until he broke the mod to free himself. I specifically like the wireless syste...

Battery

I can’t review the product itself because I picked it up a week ago and finally have a chance to set it up today. Opened the box and followed instructions but the battery is dead or the receiver is broken. Either way, I can’t use it

Love it when it works!

I love the wireless pet safe it kept our German Shepherd in the yard one day of training that’s it but now it’s not working at all…please help with support or need to get a new one.

Battery vs rechargeable

Is the rechargeable collar compatible with the battery collar? I now have the rechargeable one but was going to buy the battery unit if I can use the rechargeable collars I already have.

Collar

Just bought this in October the collar stopped working and my dog now runs across the street. This was not cheap and i expected it to last longer than this!!!!

Doesn’t work like it should

I have standard poodles and an English springer spaniel on my wireless fence collar system. I have their collars and the box turned all the way up and they still go right through it. For as much as these cost it should do a lot better than it does.

Underground and Wireless

Have used the inground fence for 20 years, and the wireless for the past 5 years, both at home and at our cottage. Would NOT be without it!!! Have 3 dogs on it, and will be adding a new addition shortly.

Best Thing ever!

I purchased two devices over 15 years ago with an additional collar for our property that was too large (would of been too expensive) to build a fence. Since then we have moved and have used the collars and devices on trips, family visits and our new dogs. Unfortunately after 15 years I now need to purchase new collars but the devices are still working. How often can you say anything still works after 15 years nowadays? May be a little expensive but totally worth the money!!!

NOT RELIABLE...

Transmitter box randomly just stops working correctly...lights up and says it's on but it's NOT so it's NOT RELIABLE. Both collars have brand new batteries and I can walk forever with them in hand but no beeps, vibrate or shock.

Says it Works

We set it up and our dog which is a big one gets alert then just walks right through it. We have it set high and yes we’ve tested with the things that came in the box. I feel like this has been a complete waste of money.

Horrible system hurts my dogs

Bought this 2 years ago and now it chocks the dogs continuously while they’re sleeping in the house. I reset the modem nothing is near it. Both collars have new batteries. My dogs are tortured by this malfunction will petsafe guarantee this product and replace it? Or will they give me more excuses why it’s my fault somehow?

Absolutely love this!

Absolutely love the versatility of this product. We are able to have it hung up high on the wall so our children can’t mess with it. It was a super easy set up very self-explanatory and my dogs caught on very fast now if they get anywhere near the beeping, they turn right around and they know that they can’t go any further the batteries for the collars have been lasting anywhere from 2 to 3 months and I previously had a pet safe one that was a rechargeable collar. Recommend

I absolutely recommend this. If you properly train your dog it works wonders. My dog, Milo, doesn't go anywhere near the boundary on only the medium setting. He's a stubborn german shepherd pitbull mix. So if you're wondering if this works for large breed, yes, yes it does. This is NOT a gps boundary. This is a boundary that is set by an adjustable radius around the main box. Milo is at the point with the boundary that I can leave him outside all day and he'll still be in the yard.

It works!

Having to constantly repair the underground wiring (if you could locate the breaks!) of the Invisible Fence system, we replaced it with this Pet safe Containment System. That was 15 yrs ago and we have never looked back! Although we live on 7 acres, we were interested in only fencing approx 1 acre which encircled our house. Set-up and training instructions was easy.
