Great powerful splitter

The product is great, except they need to install a guard for the motor as logs definitely fall on it and can cause damage. The splitter itself has tons of power and ran right through large green wood.

It works that's all one could hope for.

Our log splitter burned this summer in a wild fire. So we are late getting to our wood cutting and when the insurance finally reimbursed us for the loss we purchased your splitter. It works great and is a blessing to us to finally spit our wood. thanks for the good product.

Great splitter.

This splitter works great. Starts easily and splits anything I've thrown at it. Even splits branch junctions of some of the monster pines I have. Beats a wedge and sledge any day!

Powerful

Amazing machine. Came fully assembled and with all fluids except the gas. Also love the shelf on the side to hold the log after its split.

Works well

Solid unit. Excellent performance. Price a little strong. Awkard to hook up to tow vehicle since front stiff leg is not adjustable. Need two people to do it safely.

I have used this splitter for awhile and havent found 1 piece of wood around me I cant split. Easy to operate and works well in all weather conditions.

Time will tell

Had to take back. After two hours, engine had no spark and hydraulic lines were leaking. There was also two nuts and bolts that were not tight on the left axle that holds the wheel on. Thank god that the wheel didn’t fly off on the way home as there was one bolt without a nut just barely hanging on. The good news is that Lowe’s took back the splitter and exchanged it. I took my tools with me to make sure all bolts were tight and lines were secure. If you buy this make sure you take a 19mm and 17...

Powerful splitter

I've split several cords of white and red oak with this splitter and it performs flawlessly. Starts on the first pull everytime, even after 7 months. You can shut off the gas and run the carbs dry so storage is simple. Highly recommend this unit.

Great machine, poor assembly by Lowes

Love the product. Was less than impressed with the job Lowe’s personnel did assembling the log splitter. Found unattached hose clamp on hydraulic hose, and axle bolts not secured down. Owners manuals were soaked and moldy with pages stuck together so that they are useless. Had to go online and find owners manuals. Once I corrected all the installation shortages and fired the log splitter up, it has done a great job and I am pleased with it.

Brought it home and added fuel and oil and was impressed it started on second pull. Ran like a champ for eight hours straight.

Works fantastic!

After a few hours of use the Hydraulic fluid went low. No idea where it went to but the piston was not driving the splitter ram until I filled it again.

Nice strong and easily movable

It is strong enough to go thru any kind of wood I put on it and it is great for big round logs as well because it also stands upwards so don’t have to pick up the heavy logs
