Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spread this gifted product in our front and backyards in early September. We have pretty patchy grass in our backyard due to our dogs, etc. Even though we thoroughly watered, this product really only took root in our yard where the grass was already established. Perhaps we didn't prep the patches well - but I was impressed with how it worked where it did.

My husband did minimal prep and just watering it is flourishing, plus it started growing fast - within a few days after watering daily! Grass is still growing but so far so good.

Too cold in MN, not sure if it would work

No grass has sprouted yet, so can't say if it would work or not. I think it was just too late in the season here in MN.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this to 3 different spots in my yard: the side of the house with drainage issues, in the backyard where a trampoline used to be, spot right in front of patio. The spot on the patio was the only area where grass grew in a way that a person could notice. There was rain after and most washed away and the area under the trampoline got overrun by weeds. We recently placed this after a good tilling of the yard and man oh man did our grass grow quickly!! Fast growing grass seed

Temperatures are getting a lot cooler in Minnesota so I was concerned that the grass wouldn't even grow it, but it did. I'm looking forward to using more of it to build up some bare areas in my yard.
